More and more, weβre seeing iconic Disney food depicted as graphics, shapes, and patterns in Disney merchandise. Youβll remember the Mickey Bar-shaped antenna topper and the Mickey breakfast pajama pants, of course. And who can forget the Disney food playset and the Disney food magnets!
But walking through the lobby of the Grand Californian Friday night, I spotted what I think is quite possibly the coolest βfoodβ merchandise Iβve ever come across.Β So cool that I have a strong feeling I will be back to buy it.Β
I love Disney Food. I love Disney travel. SO, why not combine the two for a super awesome, totally radical new Disney food suitcase? This beauty was calling my name from its pedestal in the lobby gift shop.

The fun snack food designs are what caught my eye first. I noticed the Mickey Bars, popcorn, lollipops, and cotton candy. Already Iβm sold. THEN I saw that it was specific to Disneyland Resort and noticed the text that read Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. So fun.Β
But wait! Thereβs still more to notice. It took me a minute until I realized that the orange βshapeβ was actually the silhouette of Grizzly Peak over at DCA, and of course you canβt forget the purple Sleeping Beauty Castle.Β Another fun detail? The Mickey zippers!

The suitcase size is a carry-on, perfect for a weekend away.Β Itβs a hard plastic-type shell, and this

Next time Iβm over there I think I am going to justify the purchase by telling myself that I can use my annual pass for a discount!
I know my clothes would be happy traveling in this bag. How about yours?

Very nice, but thereβs still no way I can justify 149$ for a carry-on suitcase. That a lot of Turkey Legs and Mickey bars
Ooooh, niiiice. Wishing they had a WDW version. π
Renee β Iβve been shocked by luggage pricing lately! But Iβve also had too many suitcases break on me mid-transit, so Iβm ready to shell out some dough for good quality these days.
Erin β I know! I hope they make one!!! π
That is very cool. I want one!! π
If you canβt make it to Disneyland you may be able to buy it by calling the Disney Merchandise Hotline (1-877-560-6477). That is how I was able to get one of the D&B bags before they were on the Disney Store website.
They do have a Disney World Version. I recently saw it at World of Disney at Downtown Disney a few weeks ago!!!!! So fun! π
Susan β I do too! And thanks for the Disney merch hotline. π
Tashiana β Awesome!! I hope we can get a photo soon!
Thatβs awesome.. My Mickey luggage I got at TJ Maxx (or Marshalls. I always get the two mixed up) for a little more than half β still expensive for the size, but worth it for me!
