At Disney Springs, you don’t have to pick! You can have both in the newest savory, saucy combination sliding into Disney World.
The Pepperoni Pizza Burger is now cooking at D-Luxe Burger! (Why didn’t somebody think of this sooner?!)

The beef patty is layered with lettuce, pomodoro sauce, artisan pepperoni, and fried mozzarella, placed between two soft buns with a sun dried tomato resting on top. Being both huge pizza and burger fans, we went in to take a bite with high hopes.

And…we liked it, but we think that there are other, better burgers at D-Luxe. However, we do have to give them props for tackling an interesting twist!
The fried mozzarella on this burger was excellent. The cheese pulled apart well and mixed with the juiciness of the actual burger. It fit with the taste of the slightly sweet pomodoro sauce, although the bun was a bit soggy afterwards. While the pepperoni was nice, it disappointingly got lost in the other flavors.

The winner, however, was the sun-dried tomato. It added an extra burst of flavor as you bit into the burger. We wanted to add more tomatoes on top after tasting it!!

Even though it just tastes like a burger with pizza toppings, we still think this would be a nice meal to share with a friend (because the portion is fit for two!) for $13.49.
