The theme parks at Disneyland Resort may be closed at the moment, but Disney is still making LOTS of progress on the NEW Avengers Campus area that is set to come to Disney California Adventure Park soon!

We’ve seen some updates about the project, but today we got even more photos about some of the attractions and more coming to this new area.

During today’s IAAPA Expo, Josh D’Amaro, the current chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products gave some updates about a variety of projects going on at Disney parks around the world — including some details about the upcoming Avengers Campus. D’Amaro described Avengers Campus as a “major project” which is coming to Disneyland Resort in California as well as Disneyland Paris.

D’Amaro said that “construction continues” on Avengers Campus and explained that the new land “will invite guests to team up with the Avengers and their allies in a fully immersive land.”

Today, D’Amaro also shared some images of the Quinjet being placed on Avengers Headquarters in Avengers Campus in Disneyland Resort.

We’d seen some photos of the Quinjet being installed a few months ago, but it was awesome to see more photos of it and some EPIC shots of it being lowered into place.

D’Amaro also shared a special look at the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, including a peek at the outside of the building (peep the Stark logo in this photo — we love you 3,000 Iron Man)…

…as well as some concept art and a peek at the attraction’s ride vehicles.

In terms of Avengers Campus overall at Disneyland Resort, the project previously had an opening date of July 18th, 2020, but the webpage for this new land now only says “Coming Soon.” D’Amaro didn’t provide a date today in terms of the land’s future opening, but we’ll definitely keep an eye out for any more updates.
