The 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has officially started, so you know what that means…it’s time to EAT!
We’re making our way through all of the festival booths, and today we’re headed to one spot that’s serving up some super traditional holiday eats. But is this booth worth a stop on your culinary trip around World Showcase? We’re about to find out!
Can’t get enough of Turkey & stuffing? LOVE pumpkin and gingerbread? Well, the American Holiday Table booth at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays may be a good choice for you! This booth is located at The American Adventure Pavilion.
This booth is a returning one from last year, but some of the menu has changed! Let’s take a look at exactly what has been modified.
Menu
If you were a fan of last year’s hand-carved smoked ham, chocolate pecan tart, or gingerbread cookie — you won’t find them here this year. That’s right, the menu at American Holiday Table saw some major changes this year!
We always get excited to see new items make it to the Festival, so we were hopeful one of the NEW items would become a favorite.

Food
The menu at American Holiday Table wasn’t entirely new. It did feature some returning items, like the crowd favorite Slow-Roasted Turkey, complete as always with Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Cranberry Sauce. If you didn’t get enough on your plate this Thanksgiving, there’s always enough turkey and stuffing to go around in the American Adventure!
The Slow-Roasted Turkey is a solid deal, in our opinion, at $5.75. This booth is also the new home of the fudgy and delicious Chocolate Crinkle Cookie, which is part of the Cookie Stroll and in years past could be found at the Feast of the Three Kings booth.
The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie is a favorite of ours and this year was no exception! It’s a standout cookie if you’re participating in the Cookie Stroll. And at only $2.50, it’s a bargain by Disney price standards!
New to the menu this year is the Holiday Pot Pie with Jackfruit, Mushrooms, Carrots, Peas, Onions, and Puff Pastry. This is a plant-based item, which we’re always excited to see have more of a presence in Disney World. However, that excitement meant we were only more disappointed in that overall, this was just an okay dish.
Unfortunately, we didn’t notice much of a flavor, and we weren’t huge fans of its texture either. When it comes to our overall Festival picks, we wouldn’t get it again. If you’re interested, however, you can pick one up for $5.50. The other new food item is the Pumpkin Gingerbread Cheesecake with Cranberry Whipped Cream and Candied Pumpkin Seeds.
Again, this dish missed the mark for us. If you’re a big fan of pumpkin, we think you may be let down by this dish, as the pumpkin flavor really wasn’t there. The Pumpkin Gingerbread Cheesecake costs $4.25.
Beverages
In terms of beverages, there are quite a few available! The menu includes the Shipyard Eggnog White Porter (Clearwater, FL), which smells great but didn’t have a strong eggnog flavor last year. There’s also the Playalinda Brewing Co. Peppermint Chocolate Porter (Titusville, FL)…wait, peppermint and BEER?!
It sounds bizarre, but it works! This porter is absolutely awesome and makes for a great dessert beer. We know, peppermint in beer can has an odd flavor but trust us, this is great. It’s a drink that TASTES festive, which isn’t as easy to achieve as it sounds!
We also grabbed a serving of Bell’s Bright White Ale (Comstock, MI), and we’re glad we did! This one was very nice and light with a little spice to it. Each of the beers at American Holiday Table is available for $4.50 for a 6oz pour, and $8.50 for a 12oz pour.
For the wine drinkers out there, American Holiday Table also serves Chalk Hill Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) for $7 and Martin Bay Vineyards & Winery Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) for $6. Overall, American Holiday Table has quite the spread this year, with a wider range of dishes and beverages than some of the other booths at the Festival!
