We’ve had a busy weekend full of news coming out of Destination 23 — we’ve learned even MORE about the Star Wars Hotel, we finally confirmed that Festival of Fantasy and Fantasmic! will return to Disney World soon, and we got even more details about MagicBand+. In the meantime, we’ve been checking out the hotels at Disney World, to see what’s new.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Merchandise Updates

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Other Updates

The holiday decorations are UP at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and they are gorgeous!

If you get a chance to swing by there, be sure to check it out — and get close to that tree because it has some beautiful details.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Other Updates

We didn’t see a lot of holiday decorations up at the Polynesian, save for some small trees and garland around the Aulani-themed merchandise.

We’ll keep checking, though, and let you know when the hotel gets its festive upgrade.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Other Updates

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is practically a Winter Wonderland now with all its beautiful holiday decor and WE ARE HERE FOR IT.

There are poinsettias in every planter, garlands around doorways and stairs, and Christmas trees at entry points.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort Other Updates

Contemporary guests can now take the Once upon a Painting Light up Gingerbread House class.

This class takes place in the California Grill on Mondays and Fridays from 12:30PM to 2:30PM and costs $35 plus tax.
