We’re constantly looking for unique Disney items.
Disney snacks, birds, hotels — you can find interesting merchandise inspired by just about anything. But belongings from the late actress, Betty White, are being auctioned off, and these Disney items are as unique as it gets.
Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills is auctioning off Betty White’s belongings both online and in-person. The auction is taking place September 23rd-25th and there are toooons of interesting Disney items in the mix. So, of course, most of these items have already been sold.
We’ll start off with the Waterford Crystal Mickey Mouse Statue! This figurine belonged to Betty White and was inspired by The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. It has “Waterford” engraved on the bottom of the base, as well as “1996 Official Disneyana Convention.” It was estimated at $300-$500 and sold for $2,560.
They also sold her 1998 Disney D23 Event-Worn Jacket. She wore this jacket while being recognized by Bob Iger, former Disney CEO, for her work in television at the 2009 D23 Expo. This item was estimated at $200-$300 and sold for $3,840.
Another unique item is the Disney-MGM Studios Mickey “Outstanding Contribution to Television Trophy.” This trophy was presented to Betty White in 1989 and features Mickey atop a wooden base. It was estimated at $500-$700 and sold for $7,680.
And take a look at the Vintage Name Tags. They are 3 name tags personally owned by Betty White. Two of them are pinbacks, while the other is a plaque. They were estimated at $200-$300 and sold for $2,880.
