The holidays may just be the BEST time in Disney World.
The decorations are BEAUTIFUL, the trees are HUGE, and the snacks are EVERYWHERE. There’s even an ENTIRE festival surrounding the holiday season, and, yes, we are here for it. But mostly, we’re here for the food. So we’re checking out another holiday snack over at Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Meet the Riviera Resort Mickey Gingerbread Cookie. It’s a Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookie with a sugar glaze. Pretty cute, right? It’s a pretty standard gingerbread cookie, and even tasted like it, but…
…the back has dark chocolate on it, though. Dare we say this was our least favorite thing about the cookie? This chocolate was SO dark that it tasted like unsweetened baking chocolate. If you like your chocolate without a hint of sweetness, this might be your thing, but it was a bit much for us.
This cookie is BITTER. It also made the cookie even more crumbly — it started falling apart on us!
If you want to try it out for yourself, it’s available for a limited time for $4.49. Otherwise, there are some tastier treats to be had here at Le Petit Cafe, like the Chocolate Peppermint Mousse.
WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered! We have reviewed nearly EVERY snack available at Disney World, and we’ve written a series of DFB Guides about them! Check out our DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining + Snacks Bundle for all the details you need to plan your snackin’ and spending. You can even download them to your smartphone – it’ll be like we’re right there with you in the parks!
