If you’re looking for dinner and a show, one of our top recommendations is Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
This experience is located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and is a highly entertaining Wild West-themed show complete with plenty of delicious Southern comfort food. Anyone is welcome to book a reservation for this show, but it’s just been announced that there will be special holiday events for DVC (Disney Vacation Club) Members!
Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holidays will allow DVC members to celebrate the holidays in true pioneer fashion. The show and meal will have additional holiday touches to match the season, and attendees will also get a Member-exclusive pre-show and a special keepsake to remember the evening.
There are only TWO shows you can experience — November 28th and December 12th. There are two shows each night, one at 4PM and the other at 6:15PM. Disney asks that you arrive at least 30 minutes early to the show because seating will begin immediately at the start times, with the show starting 20 minutes later.
Each DVC member can bring up to 11 guests with them, even if the guests are not members themselves. There are 3 different seating categories to choose from, with Categories 1 and 2 being on the ground floor and Category 3 on the second floor (not wheelchair accessible). Pricing for these categories is as follows:
- Category 1: $79 per person (Ages 10 and up); $49 per person (Ages 3-9)
- Category 2: $74 per person (Ages 10 and up); $45 per person (Ages 3-9)
- Category 3: $71 per person (Ages 10 and up); $44 per person (Ages 3-9)
Remember that getting to Fort Wilderness is harder than you may expect — there are no direct routes from other Disney hotels. You’ll want to take a bus to Magic Kingdom, and then the ferry to Fort Wilderness, drive your own car, or take a rideshare.
To book your reservation, Members can call Member Services at 800-800-9800 starting November 1st. We’re expecting these shows to fill up pretty fast, so we suggest booking ASAP! As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news.
