Disneyland Paris‘s updates about their newly refurbished Disneyland Hotel are seriously making us want to book a trip ASAP.
Did you all see those Princess suites? AGH! We’re screaming over here and staring at our bank accounts longingly. But if you thought that was something, you haven’t seen the last of it. Check out these hidden details spread out all over the hotel!
At the Castle Club Lounge level of the rotunda, which you can access if you’re staying in select suites and rooms at the hotel, you’ll be able to admire these two Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella porcelain figures! They were originally located in their respective suites before the transformation, but now they’re available for all club members to see.
You’ll also be able to spot the glass panels, which all include famous Disney Castles engraved in them, as well as admire the railings, which feature Disney Legend Mary Blair’s designs from Cinderella.
Over at the Royal Kids Club, you’ll find that the tops of the tables located in the library are designed with patterns created by Disney Legend Eyvind Earle.
And don’t forget to check out the bookshelves — you may find friends like Pascal and Mrs. Potts hiding there to say hello.
While you’re relaxing at the hotel’s Crystal Pool & Health Club, listen closely to hear songs referencing fan-favorite royal Disney stories like Moana or Beauty and the Beast. And speaking of Beauty and the Beast, if you’re staying in the Beauty and the Beast Signature Suite, you’ll find a hidden reference to Disney Legend Howard Ashman on the binding of a book in the bookcase!
In the lobby of the resort, you’ll also find 15 different art dioramas depicting scenes from different Disney animated stories that all featured the multi-plane camera that Walt Disney and his colleagues created in the 1930s.
And lastly, Frozen fans will want to make sure they don’t miss the Prologue room of the Royal Banquet restaurant, where you’ll find a piece of artwork inspired by a deleted scene from Frozen 2! The scene is of young Agnarr and Iduna, Anna and Elsa’s parents, when they meet for the first time in the Forbidden Forest.
