It’s almost time for a brand new Magic Kingdom ride to open for everyone!
It’s no surprise that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening up to the general public on June 28th, and we couldn’t be more excited! Now, we’ve had the chance to preview the ride and we’ve been left with a crisis. Is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure better to Ride AT NIGHT?! Let’s figure it out together!
As we were saying, you’ve basically got two options when it comes to the ambiance for the outside portions of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — day or night. Which one you’ll get to experience will have a lot to do with where you’re at in the virtual queue, but you may be able to book a Lightning Lane for a set time. So if you get to choose a day or night experience, which would you choose? And more importantly, is Tiana’s ride BETTER AT NIGHT?
First things first, Tiana’s new ride is visually stunning. They really pulled out all the stops in theming.
Just have a look at all those colors and details.
Truth be told, there’s a lot that you wouldn’t be able to make out as clearly in the dark, but it does take on a different vibe.
You can’t deny that those colors do pop.
Maybe the thing to think about is that most of this ride is indoors and it’s dark…
…which means you may want to think about that transition for your eyes.
That being said, there is something to seeing that shaft of light beaming in front of you in the darkness as you prepare for the big drop at the end!
If you like that anticipation of getting to see Magic Kingdom from a pretty high vantage point in full daylight, well then you know which option you’d choose.
Ultimately, it’s going to come down to your own preference as to whether you want to experience the ride during the day or at night. Just keep in mind that Magic Kingdom is pretty spectacular all lit up at night (just saying).
Check out Disney’s POV of the ride, which was filmed at night:
