This restaurant near Disney World just added new menu items to their happy hour menu and we don’t think you should sleep on them!

Happy hour at Four Flamingos
We’re big fans of restaurants near Disney World that feature a fantastic array of dishes, and that excitement is doubled when the restaurant is backed by a celebrity chef! If you’re looking for a different spin on an evening out and not looking for all the hustle and bustle the theme parks have to offer, we know exactly where you should head next!
The Four Flamingos restaurant near Disney World will blow your mind! If you’ve never heard of this restaurant before you’re truly missing out. You’ll be able to find this restaurant right in Disney World’s backyard at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Hotel.

This sophisticated and luxurious hotel is home to some pretty amazing restaurants but none that will leave quite an impression on you as Four Flamingos A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen. While this restaurant has been around for a bit, new life was recently breathed in to it thanks to a helping hand from a celebrity chef!

Chef Richard Blais
Four Flamingos is located along the backside of the hotel and is just a short walk from either inside the hotel or the adjacent parking lot for visitors coming for dinner and drinks. As you walk up to the restaurant you’re greeted by a beautiful mural with the Four Flamingos restaurant name and then you’re able to make your way inside to the check-in desk.

Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen is just outside Disney World!
The entire restaurant will make you feel like you’ve stepped out into your very own Florida home’s lanai and entered into a tranquil oasis. The bar will be to your immediate right filled with cascading windows letting in lots of natural lighting as the sun begins to set and welcoming you to the nighttime atmosphere (and there’s even a wrap-around “porch” to enjoy your drinks outside if you prefer)!

Speaking of drinks, Four Flamingos has introduced a whole lineup of new offerings to their Happy Hour menu. This new dining time will run from 5 PM to 6 PM daily for drink and appetizer specials that are just too good (looking and tasting) to pass up.

Happy hour drinks menu
The resident bartender, Kat, introduced several new cocktails AND mock-tails that were inspired by new twists on classic crowd-pleasers. You’ll find these new options already added to the bar’s menu in the Raspberry Muerte, Pink Dragon, Euphoria, Flamingo Sling, and Fireside Sprig.

New happy hour drinks
We tried out the Raspberry Muerte and absolutely fell head over heels for this twist on a classic tequila cocktail. It’s made with raspberry puree, Cointreau, citrus salt, jalapeño infused maestro Dobel tequila and features a split rim of salt and grapefruit.

Raspberry Muerte
This is a drink that will sneak up on you so you’ll want to watch for that back heat you’ll feel after you’ve taken a sip. While it’s not anything super overpowering, it was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the split rim that really gave the drink an extra fruity zest.
Not a drinker? That’s ok — this new menu lineup also includes several mock-tail options that are in vibrant colors!
After touring the new drinks on the happy hour menu we also got a preview of the exclusive foods you can order, too. Chef Josue has teamed up with Chef Blais to create dishes that are reminiscent of a Floridian kitchen feel. These new additions include dishes such as Ice Cold Oysters & Pearls, Smoked Tuna Dip, Shrimp Po Boy, Fish Ribs, and the Wagyu Burger.

These happy hour dishes are large portions for what’s typically offered as happy hour cuisine.

Happy hour anyone?
We sampled a few of the dishes including the Wagyu Burger which everyone at the table raved about! The inside wagyu beef was so juicy and tender and was complimented beautifully by the arugula, red onions & pickled pineapple relish aioli Chef Josue Perez had prepared.

We also felt like the Fish Ribs…

…and the Chilean Seabass…

…and the Filet Mignon shouldn’t be slept on either (which means you deserve a second stop-in for another happy hour!)

Filet Mignon
The fish ribs are just what you would imagine with that fish meat peeling right off the bones perfectly seasoned, the sea bass was so fluffy and buttery you could cut it with your fork, and filet mignon just melted in your mouth surrounded by a bed of sauce and potatoes. But, we’re also going to honorable mention the oysters, too!

Ice Cold Oysters & Pearls
The inside of the restaurant where you’ll be seated also features an open-facing kitchen where you can see the chefs as they prepare the orders and your seating arrangements feel more like you’re sitting in your own Floridian back patio in comfy furniture taking in an evening with your friends. The large windows overlook the landscaping to the conservation in the back of the hotel, making it an ideal atmosphere to wind down for a relaxing evening out.
