If you’re going to Disney World, you know that there is almost no end to the options you have when it comes to dining. From quick and easy all the way to the fabulous and fancy, if you’re looking for it, you’ll find it at Disney World.
We recently stopped by Martha’s Vineyard at at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to see what was cookin’, and now we’ve gotta go over our FULL review. Let’s find out together if it’s worth a stop on your next trip to Disney World!
Atmosphere
Martha’s Vineyard has a relaxed, beachy vibe that fits right into the Beach Club aesthetic.
It’s a small lounge with a handful of tables and a bar area, offering a casual spot to unwind after a long park day. While it’s not a “destination dining” location like some of Disney’s signature restaurants, it does have a cozy, welcoming feel.
One big plus is that it’s open late. If you’re craving a snack and a drink after a long day at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, this could be a convenient stop.
However, if you’re expecting an upscale dining experience, you might want to adjust your expectations—this is more of a lounge than a full-fledged restaurant.
But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
Martha’s Vineyard keeps things pretty nice and simple with the menu. The menu isn’t extensive, but the focus is on quality over quantity.
You’ll find some lounge bites like wings and shrimp.
And there are a number options when it comes to cocktails, wine, and beer.
And now, onto the main event — the food!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the Barbecue Pork Ribs for $14. These come with a serving of coleslaw.
You have to know that these barbecue pork ribs were a real standout. They had a great balance of meat to fat, making them tender and flavorful without being overly greasy. The barbecue sauce tasted similar to the sauce used at Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom, which is a solid choice.
They came hot and fresh, which we appreciated, and were served on a bed of coleslaw. The slaw felt more like a garnish than a full-on side, but the overall presentation was nice. If you’re a fan of Disney’s barbecue offerings, these ribs are worth trying.
We also tried the New England Clam Chowder for $9. It came with a piece of cornbread on the side.
For the price, this was a pretty generous portion. The chowder was soupy and creamy, leaning more toward a brothy texture than an ultra-thick, rich one. If you like your clam chowder packed with veggies, you’ll appreciate the generous helping of celery and onion.
The oyster crackers had a seasoned coating, adding some extra flavor, which was a welcome detail. The bacon bits were fresh and chewy—not the sad, stale kind you sometimes get with pre-made soups.
The only real downside was that the cornbread was dry. It felt a little stale, like it had been sitting out for a while.
It wasn’t inedible, but it didn’t add much to the meal. If the cornbread had been fresher, this would have been a home run.
Drinks
To drink, we picked up the Blood Orange Margarita for $12.50, and it’s made with Lunazul Añejo Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Lime Juice, and Blood Orange Sour.
This drink was fruity, smooth, and well-balanced—not too heavy on the alcohol, but not overly sweet either. It had a nice pink hue, making it visually appealing, and we went with a salted rim for a little extra kick.
The drink was refreshing, but it wasn’t very memorable. It did the job, but it wasn’t something we’d rush back for. If you’re looking for an exciting cocktail experience, you’re probably better off at AbracadaBar or Oga’s Cantina.
Nosh or Not
Martha’s Vineyard is a must-visit if…
- You’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and want a casual, late-night bite.
- You’re looking for solid bar food in a quiet setting.
- You enjoy barbecue ribs and New England Clam Chowder.
You should skip Martha’s Vineyard if…
- You’re looking for a must-try Disney dining experience.
- You prefer a larger, more exciting menu.
- You want a strong, memorable cocktail—the drinks here are good but not standout.
Overall
Martha’s Vineyard is a nice, low-key spot, but it’s not a destination restaurant. The barbecue ribs and clam chowder were solid, and the Blood Orange Margarita was enjoyable, but nothing about the experience felt particularly special. If you’re already at the Beach Club and want a quick, satisfying bite, this place gets the job done. But if you’re going out of your way for Disney dining, there are more exciting options elsewhere.
