We’re bringing you some super important Orlando International Airport hacks!
If you’re flying into Orlando for a vacation, chances are you’re flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO). To prep you for your journey, we constantly provide airport tips and updates to help make the air travel process as smooth as possible. With that in mind, for this one, we’re providing advice that could save you when nature calls during a visit to the airport.
Whether you’re using the official MCO app or using maps provided on-location, it’s important to get familiar with the airport’s layout BEFORE your journey.
When scoping out bathrooms, you’ll quickly notice that each section of gates is equipped with them. The convenience is great, but if you’re looking for the best bathrooms, you’ll probably want to target the ones less-used.
Looking at Terminals A and B, you’ll see four sections of gates, each with restrooms and companion care restrooms. Once you’re past security, you’re limited to these. HOWEVER, if you decide you want something a bit more private, both Terminal A and B ticketing locations each have multiple companion care bathrooms available. When you aren’t past security yet, these will be your go-to spots.
Terminal C actually has a bit more options. Unlike A and B, Terminal C has restrooms in baggage claim. While A and B have nursing areas and pet relief areas, Terminal C’s baggage claim has these and multiple restrooms.
Below arrivals, you’ll find a link to Terminals A and B, and it’s here where you’ll find some restroom availability. Level 4 has a restroom next to the connector train while Level 2 has some near the gates, security checkpoint, and Palm Court.
You’ll even find a bathroom on Level 1 near ground transportation.
When in doubt, ALWAYS check the map and — when in doubt — opt for convenience when nature calls.
We’ll continue to keep you covered on all the latest travel tips so stay tuned right here at DFB to stay in the know!
