Netflix giveth, and Netflix taketh away. It’s something most of us have gotten used to over the years as streaming continues to evolve and expand.

Countless shows have been canceled by the streaming giant, including several this year alone — but which ones, and why? Whether due to low viewership, a series not being picked back up, or an entirely different reason, these are the shows that Netflix has canceled so far in 2025.

Series cancelations can be complicated. When a streaming service or television network announces that another season of a show won’t be made, Rotten Tomatoes considers that a cancelation. Whether a show comes to a natural end or not, someone, somewhere, made the decision to say “enough.”

Whether due to an actual cancelation or due to showrunners and Netflix deciding to end a series after a final season, these are all the shows that have been “canceled” by Netflix in 2025 so far.
