Is it really cheaper to go to Disney World this summer?
It’s no secret that a trip to Disney World is expensive, and in actuality, prices haven’t gone “down” in 2025. Not technically, anyway. However, Disney IS doing something different this year. Specifically, they are offering discounts at levels we haven’t seen since prior to the pandemic!
Disney has a wide variety of discounts available for summer 2025, including the following:
$89 Special Summer 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket
For visits between April 6th and September 22nd, Disney is offering a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $89 per day ($267 total, plus tax) for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. (NOTE: These tickets are not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom.)
Half-Off for Kids!
From May 27th through September 20th, 3-day or longer standard Disney World theme park tickets for kids (ages 3 to 9) are 50% off their normal price.
Early Summer 30% Off on Rooms
From May 1st and July 31st, Disney is offering up to 30% on rooms at select Disney hotels when you stay 5 consecutive nights.” However, these “Early Summer” dates aren’t the ONLY time you can save 30% off on a Disney hotel room.
Late Summer and Fall 30% Off on Rooms
From August 1st to October 11th (so yes, the very next day), Disney is also offering up to 30% off on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels when you stay 5 consecutive nights.”
Annual Passholder Savings
AP Holders can save up to 40% on Rooms for stays on select nights from June 1st to July 31st. In addition, lesser discounts are available for stays from May 1st through the 31st.
FREE Dining!
Disney is offering FREE Dining Plans with the purchase of a “non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option” in the following date ranges: June 29th to September 30th, October 20th to November 1st, and December 6th to December 22nd.
While Disney offering discounts is nothing new, there are more of them in 2025 than anytime in the last 5 years, which in turn makes it possible to say that it can be cheaper to go to Disney World in 2025 than in previous years. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney’s discount offers.

Always a caveat to those “price reductions”. Higher prices with less offerings seems to be the Disney business plan. The mismanagement of this institution is astounding.
Brian, nice job.
Hopefully WDW is working on getting less expensive, instead of cheaper (I know, words).
Don’t ever want to get a cheap experience at WDW.
Also good work using % as well as $. Using % helps baseline the WDW costs better
Not getting cheaper. They raise prices elsewhere to offset. For example, last year I could purchase a Loungefly for $78. This year they are $90. Prior to that they were $72.
