One of the BEST places to dine is actually outside of the Disney World parks!
Disney Springs is home to dozens of dining locations, from snack spots to fast food to table service meals. These locations have some pretty unique offerings, and recently, some fun menu items arrived at Paddlefish! So we’re taking you with us to try the new eats.
Atmosphere
Paddlefish is located inside a GIANT paddle boat in Disney Springs — seriously, you can’t miss it!

Paddlefish!
The boat has three levels with tons of seating, but not all rooms and areas are open throughout the day.

Here’s a look at the first floor!

And finally, the third floor!

You can even check out the outdoor, rooftop bar if you’re just looking for something quick!

The rooftop!
But enough about the scenery, what’s on the menu?
Menu
Paddlefish is primarily a seafood restaurant. It offers lunch and dinner menus with a wide variety of bites.

An overall look at the menu!
For both lunch and dinner, you can find starters, chilled and raw seafood, soups and salads, plus pasta and main entrees. Don’t forget about the steamer options as well!

Eats
First up, we grabbed the Crab Boursin Dip for $12. This one was interesting! This item has Blue crab, creamy Boursin cheese, green onions, and sesame crackers on the side.

Crab Boursin Dip
There was quite a bit of brininess from the crab, and the cheese is very strong. The onion brings out the pungent flavors of both the cheese and crab! The chips offered a strong flavor of their own and struggled to hold the creamy, heavy dip. While we didn’t hate it, we don’t necessarily think we would get this again.

A dip!
We also got the Burrata Panzanella! This was $20 and came with cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, cucumbers, toasted bread, and basil.

The Burrata
First things first, our reporter’s exact words were “this is insane!” The burrata is creamy, light, smooth, and fresh all at once. The tomatoes add some amazing texture and brightness to the dish. The cucumber, while a bit watery, adds a crunch and freshness as well.

Have a bite!
The pesto on the bottom added a wonderful earthy flavor, with the toasted bread adding an amazing crunch with butter and garlic elements. Overall, it was a complex and tasty item that really surprised us. Finally, we grabbed the Lobster Corn Dogs for $24.

The lobster corn dogs!
These used to be on the menu here a few years back, and they’ve returned recently! They’re market price, so that’s subject to change. These are cornmeal breaded lobster skewers with a sweet chili aioli and a side of lemon. These reminded us of sweet corn dogs in a way. The lobster was tender with a bit of chew to it.

The flavors were nice and mild, with the breading adding a bit of sweetness. The aioli added a bit of spice, which we really enjoyed. While we really enjoyed them, it is helpful to remind anyone reading that these really are just fancy corn dogs. They were delicious and could be fun to share with a group.

Overall, these were more of a novelty than anything!

Overall
These items were really interesting and different from other items we’ve had in Disney World! We’d happily grab these items again as sharables or even a smaller meal for one. All we know for sure if we’re suddenly craving lobster.

Our family loves the food here!
The service was great and the atmosphere is great…
We love Paddlefish. Our favorite Disney Springs restaurant. My granddaughter loves the crab legs & seafood boil. I like the fried fish also.
We love Paddlefish! We book Cirque Drawn to Life show for 4pm and Paddlefish for 6:30pm. This has been a tradition since 1998 Cirque La Nouba, best ever. Previously 1977 The Empress Lily (named after Walt’s wife)….1998 Fultons’s Crab House….2017 Paddlefish. Then shopping, wonderful way to end the evening.
