EPCOT has long had the reputation of being Disney World’s most culinary adventurous theme park, featuring a litany of permanent unique sit-down restaurants and snack options, as well as an ever-changing lineup of festival-exclusive dishes.
While this veritable smorgasbord is fantastic, it can also be a bit overwhelming, with a guest potentially not even knowing where to start when deciding what kind of snack to grab. That’s where we come in! We’ve rounded up some of our FAVORITE EPCOT snacks, from time-tested classics to new debuts!
Pretzel Nuggets with Beer Cheese – $8.50 – Block & Hans
Let’s kick off with one of the newer entries on our list! Available at the Block & Hans quick service dining location at the World Showcase’s American Adventure Pavilion. These warm pretzel nuggets are served with garlic butter, BBQ rub, and beer cheese sauce.
School Bread – $4.99 – Kringla Bakeri
From a new entry to an old favorite, let’s move over to Norway’s Kringla Bakery for the location’s legendary School Bread. This sweet roll filled with custard and dipped in coconut has been a longtime favorite of many EPCOT guests, including us.
Werthers Caramel Popcorn – $7.99 – Karamell-Küche
Speaking of old favorites, Werthers Caramel Popcorn has been a staple of EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion for years, and it still holds up! The best part? You can eat your popcorn fresh – – after watching it be made! – – or take it home to save as a post-visit snack
Caramel Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich – $7.79 – Karamell-Küche
Also available at Karamell-Küche, this cookie sandwich may seem like a simple offering – – two soft gingerbread cookies sandwiched with Werthers caramel and salted caramel buttercream frosting – – but it’s a PERFECTLY simple combination that is one of our favorites.
Pretzel Bread Pudding – $4.79 – Sommerfest
Remaining in Germany, let’s head over to Sommerfest for the Pretzel Bread Pudding. For under $5.00, you can get this pretzel bread pudding, with bits of pretzel on top, and vanilla and caramel sauces, all of which combine for one of our favorite EPCOT desserts.
Kakigori – $7.00 for One Flavor/$7.50 for Two Flavors – Kabuki Cafe
These longtime favorite shaved ice snacks in the Japan pavilion are available in multiple syrup flavors, including lemon, Blue Hawaii, melon, strawberry, and Kyoho Grape.
Ice Cream Martini – $14.94 – L’Artisan des Glaces
On to France and one of our favorite sweet spots, L’Artisan des Glaces. First, there are the Ice Cream Martinis. Which feature two scoops of ice cream, a shot of Grand Marnier, and whipped cream vodka or rum.
Croque Glace – $10.95 – L’Artisan des Glaces
If you’re not in the mood for a martini, go for this old standby, which features one scoop of ice cream with a choice of sauce inside of a pressed warm homemade brioche. Yum indeed!
Baguette – $2.95 for Half/$4.95 for Full – Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Moving to another of our favorite spots in France, it’s hard to go wrong with the classic baguette at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. While the the bread itself may not let the world on fire, the size and price can’t be beat.
Soup Du Jour in Bread Bowl – $7.95 – Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
The establishment also offers soups and bisques on a rotating basis, served in a bread bowl!
Pizza Roll – $11.29 with Cheese/$11.79 with Pepperoni – Sunshine Seasons
Before we wrap up, we’re sliding out of World Showcase and over to The Land, and specifically Sunshine Seasons, the food court area that offers a “bountiful selection of fresh, flavorful fare.” Some of that fare we love: PIZZA ROLLS. These delicious treats, available in both plain cheese and pepperoni options on one of our latest obsessions!
Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie – $4.49 – Sunshine Seasons
Remaining in Sunshine Seasons, let’s wrap up with one of our favorite EPCOT desserts: the PEANUT BUTTER WHOOPIE PIE!
These are just SOME of our favorite EPCOT snacks! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney dining tips!
