We have been eagerly awaiting this moment ever since a new Spaceship Earth lounge was announced! It is finally time to step foot inside and explore everything GEO-82 has to offer.
We first learned about this new lounge in August 2024, and now it is less than one week away from its grand opening. We had the opportunity to get a first look inside this new space before its official opening, and, of course, we are bringing you along with us!
GEO-82 will open in EPCOT on June 4th, 2025. The name is a nostalgic nod to Spaceship Earth, which opened in 1982. Inside the lounge, be prepared to be immersed in the history and legacy of this EPCOT icon. An important note that this lounge is ONLY for guests who are 21 years and older. Unfortunately, kids will not be allowed inside the space.
The lounge was announced as a sleek space inspired by “the stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of Spaceship Earth. It will feature geometric shapes, rich textures, and warm metallic tones to offer a relaxing space for guests. You can find Geo-82 near the back of the Spaceship Earth attraction. Without further ado, let’s take a look inside GEO-82!
This space certainly does remind us of Spaceship Earth, so we say it gets 5/5 stars for that decoration choice! The main seating area of this space has plenty of comfortable chairs and booths, and it pairs fantastically with all the gorgeous lighting.
The bar is also gorgeous — just look at all those gold accents!
There are some darker areas of the lounge here as well, so if you’d like to sit somewhere a little less open, that is an option!
GEO-82 is giving us some good first impressions! We can’t wait to explore this space more and try some of the food and drink options. Disney has promised “global flavors blended with culinary artistry in classic cocktails and small plates,” and we can’t wait to provide you with reviews.
You can find drinks including the Caramelized Leek Martini, Brown Butter Old Fashioned, and Strawberry-Black Pepper Sour. For food, you can try dishes such as the Cannellini Hummus, Funghi Flatbread, and Truffled Ahi Tuna. Geo-82 also offers a fireworks experience where you can watch Luminous: The Symphony of Us from inside the lounge.

Wonder how much of Luminous you will be able to see .
Beautiful! Thanks for the sneak peek DFB! We can’t wait to visit.
Stunning space and wonderful to convert what was a private space into something for guests. I would change the sentence “Unfortunately, kids won’t be allowed” to “Fortunately, kids won’t be allowed”. Too many venues are ruined by kids climbing all over everything while parents permit it to happen.
I am so excited!!!!!
We just went Geo-82 last week and it was underwhelming. The ambiance is nice and the space is really pretty, but the $25 drinks weren’t great and very subpar. I don’t mind paying that much for a cocktail if it’s really good, but my drinks at Docking Bay 7 (a quick service restaurant) were better than these drinks. They do give a cool cloth with essential oils to each guest, which is nice to cool off with. That was a nice touch. The server was very loud and almost yelling as she spoke…I had to put tissue in my ears. Also, there aren’t signs as to where this place is, so we had to ask cast members where it was…are they trying to hide from guests? That’s so annoying when you’re trying to make it on time to the reservation having to walk all over the place searching for it. I much prefer the great drinks at Oga’s Cantina in Hollywood Studios.
