Back in March 2025, Disney World lowered the down payment for its annual passes to $99 from $205– and increased the monthly payment depending on the type of pass. However, the lower down payment is no longer available, and the down payment has once again increased to $205.
Disney World Annual Pass
While the down payment has increased, the monthly payments have decreased. So, while you pay more upfront, your monthly cost will be lower. At the end of the day, pass prices have remained the same; all that has changed is when you actually end up paying the cost.
Disney World offers four tiers of annual passes: Pixie Dust Pass, Pirate Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Incredi-Pass. All guests can purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass (the highest tier pass). Florida residents and eligible Disney Vacation Club members can purchase the Disney Sorcerer Pass, but only Florida residents can purchase the Disney Pirate Pass and Pixie Dust Pass.

The different tiers have different block-out dates, and the tier determines how many Park Reservations you can hold at once. Let’s take a look at how this change in down payment affects the monthly payments for each of the passes:

- Pirate Pass
- Old Down Payment: $99
