August is just around the corner, which means we’re that much closer to EPCOT’s biggest festival of the year!

2024 Food and Wine Festival
Disney has just started dropping details on this year’s Food and Wine Festival — including confirmed foods, the full line-up for Eat to the Beat, merchandise, and more! Among the new stuff, Disney is also bringing back TWO of their popular park hunts — but at a price increase.
It’s almost here, Disney fans! EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival will begin on August 28th and run through November 22nd. Every year, EPCOT’s big festival brings food booths around World Showcase and beyond, featuring diverse cuisines from all around the world. The festival is a great place to enjoy concerts, activities, and TONS of food and beverages.

What’s a Food and Wine Festival without Disney’s biggest chef, Remy?! Remy, from Disney Pixar’s Ratatouille, has been a big part of the festival for a while as a part of “Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt”! Remy’s Hide and Squeak Hunt invites guests to join in finding Remy, as he “hides” throughout World Showcase.

Look out for Remy!
The activity is fun for the whole family to work together and see if they can find all the spots where the little chef is hidden. You will be able to purchase a map and stickers at select locations throughout the park. This is to keep track of your progress. Remy will be hiding in different World Showcase pavilions, collecting specific ingredients (who knows what he’s cooking up).

Once you’ve found Remy’s hiding spots in each pavilion and completed the scavenger hunt, there will be a special prize waiting for you! Last year, Remy’s Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt was $9.99. However, the activity is getting a price increase to $11.99 for this year.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2024
That’s not the only activity receiving a price increase for the Food and Wine Festival. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will also increase from $9.99 to $11.99. Similar to the Ratatouille-inspired activity, this scavenger hunt invites you to search for Disney-themed pumpkins throughout the park.

No one likes a price increase, but what we do like is that Disney also confirmed that Emile’s Fromage Montage will return in 2025! This is a cheese crawl of cheesy dishes from food booths around the park. Get your festival passports and collect the stamps to earn a complimentary treat! Right now, we don’t know what the full cheesy food list is, but we’re sure we’ll hear something soon.
We do know that these snacks will be available:
- Milled & Mulled: Fall Fruit Cheesecake featuring Boursin® Fig & Balsamic Cheese with Pomegranates and Candied Pecans
- Brazil: Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread
- Greece: Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey

We can’t wait for the Food and Wine Festival to indulge in all that it has to offer. We’re going to keep an eye out for more news to drop. So, make sure to stay tuned with the Disney Food Blog!

Are you excited for the festival this year? Let us know in the comments!

Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.

You make it sound like we should be excited but the heat, crowds, price increases, too much booze and weird ingredients have us shaking our heads. We also don’t recognize anyone in the lineup except one group for Eat to the Beat. Seems like the Festival is now being geared more toward the young folks. We may go on a nice day but so far we’re not seeing anything for us to get excited about….Disappointed….
We would love to do the Remy scavenger hunt! I may have to rethink my policy about not visiting during the Food & Wine festival… we generally go to WDW in January, but our plans are having to change…
