Disney’s Grand Californian

While the parks are full of great options, the hotels are not to be missed. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has some fantastic dining choices to try, especially over at GCH Craftsman Grill. There’s a new hot dog of the month available right now, and if you’re a savory fan, we’re telling you now, you’ve GOT to check it out!

This month’s hot dog is The Bodega Dog for $16. It has Shredded Pork, All-Beef Hotdog, Broccoli Rabe, Caramelized Onions, Monterey Jack Cheese, and Hot & Sweet Pepper Aioli, served on an Italian Hoagie Roll. It’s served with French fries and Pickled Hot Cherry Peppers.

The Bodega Dog

There are lots of savory flavors here, with the pulled pork and beef hot dog, but the caramelized onions have a sweeter flavor, which pairs well with the meats and pepper aioli. There’s only a bit of spice from the aioli, as it definitely leans more towards the sweet pepper side for the flavor.

The Monterey Jack has a sharp cheesy taste, but there isn’t too much of it on this dish. We wish there was more! The hoagie roll was perfect with the outside being nice and crunchy and the inside being soft and fluffy. The fries were crispy, as they always are here — we always know we can count on them!

This reminds us of the Philly Cheesesteak Hot Dog they had here a little while ago, which we loved too! Overall, we definitely recommend it if you’re a fan of savory meals, and think it’ll certainly fill you up to keep you going throughout the day.
