It turns out, you can book a vacation where everything is taken care of — even the snacks.
All-inclusive resorts aren’t just for tropical getaways in the Caribbean. The U.S. actually has some pretty epic all-inclusive destinations, too. And no, we’re not talking about boring buffets and scheduled entertainment every hour — we’re talking about luxury cabins, mineral-rich hot springs, next-level food, and wellness experiences that might just convince you to turn off your phone (maybe). Here are a few of the top all-inclusive travel spots in the U.S. that actually live up to the hype.
Magee Homestead – Saratoga, Wyoming
This isn’t your average rustic ranch retreat. Magee Homestead is part of the Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection and was built for adults who want to unplug, recharge, and maybe sip some premium wine after a hike through the Sierra Madre mountains. It’s romantic, remote, and seriously serene.
You’ve got your pick of cozy cabins here, but if you want the most space (and bragging rights), book the TZ cabin — three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a full kitchen, and all the mountain lodge vibes. Rates cover gourmet meals, premium drinks (yes, including alcohol), and a full lineup of outdoor adventures. Want to hike or bike? Go for it. Prefer to chill by the pool or hit the spa? That’s covered too (though treatments are extra).
Guests are obsessed with the setting and the food. This isn’t your standard campfire chili situation — we’re talking real-deal gourmet dining in the middle of Wyoming wilderness.
Castle Hot Springs – Morristown, Arizona
If your idea of vacation is more “float in mineral springs and realign your chakras” than “adrenaline rush,” Castle Hot Springs might be your dream destination. Tucked in the Sonoran Desert just outside of Phoenix, this resort centers around three naturally heated, mineral-rich pools that are as therapeutic as they are Insta-worthy.
Beyond soaking in hot springs loaded with magnesium and lithium (yes, really), you can join yoga sessions, try guided meditation, or go full zen with a massage (spa services cost extra). More into play than pause? There’s also pickleball, ax throwing, and even archery.
Your stay includes all meals — breakfast, lunch, and a fancy multi-course dinner — plus drinks and poolside snacks. The rooms? Think rustic-luxe bungalows and cabins, Wi-Fi included, plus board games and Nespresso machines for slow mornings. Even better? You’re lounging in a spot that once hosted U.S. presidents. No big deal.
Alila Ventana Big Sur – Big Sur, California
Let’s get this out of the way: Big Sur is gorgeous. Now imagine waking up on 160 acres of coastal redwood forest with a view of the Pacific, sipping coffee on your private deck. That’s Alila Ventana.
This adults-only resort leans hard into wellness and nature. All meals (yes, everything), daily snacks, and wellness classes are included in the price — along with access to hiking trails, hot tubs, and a spa that overlooks the cliffs. Bonus points for the “only in Big Sur” experiences like beekeeping, falconry demos, and leather crafting.
You can stay in rooms or suites, but there are also two standalone houses if you want something more private. Some rooms have hot tubs. Some have fireplaces. All have views that make you question why you ever stayed in a standard hotel room.
Lake Austin Spa Resort – Austin, Texas
Just 20-ish miles from downtown Austin, Lake Austin Spa Resort feels a million miles away. This is a super-chill, adults-only lakeside retreat where wellness isn’t a trend — it’s the whole point.
Your all-inclusive stay gets you three legit meals per day (not buffet trays), unlimited drinks like tea and coffee, and access to lake activities, yoga, hikes, and boat rides. Spa treatments cost extra, but guests say they’re worth it — and you can still enjoy the steam rooms, saunas, and hot tubs without spending extra.
There are only 40 rooms here, and they come with lake or garden views, soaking tubs, outdoor patios, and all the little luxuries you’d hope for (robes and slippers included). The vibe is upscale but unfussy, and past guests consistently rave about the staff, the peace and quiet, and how easy it is to forget about your inbox.
Bungalows Key Largo – Key Largo, Florida
If you’ve been searching for a true all-inclusive beach escape in the U.S., this is it. Bungalows Key Largo is an adults-only resort in the Florida Keys that actually includes meals, drinks, activities, and a whole lot more — no wristbands required.
You’ll stay in your own private bungalow (garden or waterfront), each with outdoor showers, soaking tubs, and a little veranda for lounging. Rates cover all meals at five different restaurants, top-shelf drinks at multiple bars, and snacks throughout the day. Plus, there are live music nights, karaoke, trivia, and other fun low-key events.
Want to be active? Paddleboarding, snorkeling, group yoga, and a gym with Pelotons are all part of the deal. Want to relax? Poolside cocktails and a spa (services extra) are ready for you. And if you’re up for exploring, the staff can set you up with boat tours or even a scuba diving trip.
All-inclusive doesn’t have to mean international, and it definitely doesn’t have to mean basic. These U.S. resorts are proof that you can vacation hard and chill harder — no passport required.
