Something BIG is happening in Disneyland right now. The park is having its big 70th Anniversary Celebration.
The Celebration has brought back the Paint the Night parade (which lights up the California sky), as well as a ton of special merchandise collections AND food and drinks (our favorite part). So Disneyland is on a lot of folks’ minds now, including Disney CEO Bob Iger, who was recently asked how he’d spend an hour in Disneyland.
When Good Morning America asked Iger about what he would do in Disneyland for an hour if he had the park to himself and someone who’d never been there before, he responded that he would first visit his favorite ride. What would that ride be? Well, it’s the CLASSIC ride, Pirates of the Caribbean. Now, we all know that Disneyland’s version of the ride is one of the superior versions, so well said, Bob!
What else would he do? Well, he also mentioned that he’d take that newbie to meet Mickey Mouse (of course). He also mentioned that just walking down Main Street is an experience in and of itself, especially when you can smell churros and popcorn (ain’t that right?). In fact, he said that this was “very, VERY important.” Agreed. Also, we’d add eating said churros and popcorn.
If you would like to see Bob’s full response, you can watch the video below. But yes, churros and popcorn, FOR SURE.
