Disney World is keeping us on our toes!

The parks are changing a lot these days! New lands are coming, several rides are being refurbished, and we’re expecting more news soon, thanks to Destination D23. With all of this change, we thought Disney might take it easy on us for a while, but NOPE! They recently dropped 3 major announcements that totally caught us off guard.

There is so much going on in the parks right now, we thought maybe, just maybe, Disney was done with announcements for now. We were totally wrong! With the holidays coming up, Disney is keeping us on our toes in more ways than one, starting off with some delicious DOLE Whip news.

DOLE Whip Updates

If you’re a fan of specialty treats, you’re just like us! Anytime a holiday, party, celebration, or event comes around, we hold our breath to see how many limited-time sweet treats there will be. Recently, we finally got the full list of all of the food coming to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and one snack in particular surprised us.

Mickey’s Not So Scary!

This year, the party is bringing back one specialty DOLE Whip… and that’s it! In the past, we normally saw a handful of specialty ice-cold treats pop up for the holidays in the parks, but in 2025, you can only grab the DOLE Whip Mango and Chamoy Float! It’s DOLE Whip Mango, pineapple juice, chamoy, and chili-lime seasoning.

This treat was around for the same festivities in 2024, and we loved it last year! It was sweet, savory, and packed a punch when it came to flavors. That being said, we were really surprised to see only one DOLE Whip coming around for this year’s party. Disney… is everything okay?

This dessert will be available during normal park hours and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Bar

Over in Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar gave us a fearfully fun surprise! This Disney Springs bar has been a favorite of ours for years thanks to its delicious cocktails, fun bites, and detailed themeing.

This bar also transforms at Christmas time each year to become Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, which we are genuinely obsessed with. Now, for a seriously fun and shocking surprise, Disney announced that Jock Lindsey’s will transform into a Halloween Bar in 2025! This surprise will involve a Halloween overlay with a brand-new menu.

It will include items like a chicken biscuit sandwich, quesadillas with skulls, and fried deviled eggs! The new menu is sure to be a huge hit, and we can’t wait to see how all of the decor comes to life.

Major Changes In Hollywood Studios

Finally, we’re headed to Hollywood Studios with the most shocking news of all. A brand-new land is coming to the park in 2026! This new area, which will be called The Magic of Disney Animation, will bring two new attractions and an updated attraction when construction is complete.

Star Wars: Launch Bay will transform into “a place where kids and kids at heart can laugh, draw, dream, and explore animated new experiences.” Disney has hinted that characters will take over the studio while the animators are away, bringing it to life for guests to play for hours. Portraits will come to life, and you might even be able to “pencil in some time to learn to draw your very own character sketch.”

Disney is also bringing the Drawn to Wonderland playground to life, which is inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair’s concept art for Alice in Wonderland. Disney has shared that this playground will feature “oversized flower garden with musical instruments, a Mad Tea party playset, and a Tugley Wood exploration area.”

Finally, Disney also confirmed that Disney Junior Play and Dance will be reimagined once the new area opens sometime in 2026.

We were so surprised that Disney dropped all of these announcements, especially the Hollywood Studios news, before D23, which takes place from August 29th through August 31st.
