Major Disney World News Is About to Drop Soon

Prepare yourself…big Disney news is coming soon!

Now, Disney has already dropped some big projects recently, especially with the news about plans to overhaul Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, in three days, we’ll get even bigger news that will include an update about how Disney+ is doing (and we might even learn about future plans for the streaming service), as well as details about how Disney Parks are doing financially. Yes, Disney’s earnings call is coming up on Wednesday, August 6th.

That’s right. The Walt Disney Company will be holding its third-quarter earnings call for fiscal year 2025 on Wednesday at 8:30 AM ET (yes, CEO Bob Iger likes the early morning calls, so we’re getting up early that day). During the call, we’ll learn more about the numbers…as in how many subscribers Disney+ has and how much revenue it’s bringing in. We’ll also learn about the financial status of the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line.

However, we often get other big announcements during these calls. For example, we may learn more about the timeline for Pueblo Esperanza, the land that’s currently under construction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We might get a new update about Piston Peak, the Cars expansion coming to Magic Kingdom, or maybe we’ll finally get more details about the Villains land coming to that park.

Perhaps we’ll get more information on the Monsters, Inc. land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and learn more about The Magic of Disney Animation.

Of course, we could learn more about Disney’s upcoming movie schedule, as well as plans for original shows on Disney+. All we know is that we will be tuned in bright and early on Wednesday morning, ready to tell you about any big news that gets announced. So stay tuned to DFB for more.
