Disney World is going through quite a few changes right now — and we just discovered another one!
Typically, when you want to dine at a Disney World table-service restaurant, you need an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR). There are some exceptions to that rule (like walk-up waitlists), but at Disney World quick-service restaurants, no reservations are required. Over at eet by Maneet in Disney Springs — a quick-service spot — you can now book ADRs!
We were recently perusing the Disney World website when we happened to notice an Advanced Dining Reservation option pop up for eet by Maneet at Disney Springs! This was surprising as it’s a quick-service restaurant with walk-up service that typically hasn’t had the reservation option in the past. This wasn’t something we had seen from a quick-service restaurant at Disney World before, so we headed to Disney Springs to confirm.
It’s true! We confirmed with eet by Maneet that the ADRs are for the solarium section of the dining room, which is separate from the main dining area in the center. The main dining area is still reserved for folks wanting to walk up and order — the reservations just guarantee your seating in the solarium. I’ve been going to Disney World for YEARS and I’ve never seen this option!
You’ll still walk up to the counter, order your food, and be given a buzzer to bring back to your table, with employees then bringing your order out to you as the restaurant has operated before.
Employees said this may change in the future, where those who have a reservation can order directly from their table in the solarium, but for now, this is how the reservations are working.
eet is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs (close to Earl of Sandwich and Rainforest Cafe), where it serves up “traditional flavor with modern flair.”
Shareables include a bread service and DIY Pani Puri along with Tandoori Chicken Poutine. You can order an array of different naan options or opt for a Chicken Tikka Naan Pizza on the Pizza & Breads menu. If you’re a do-it-yourself kind of person, then you might enjoy the option to BYOB (Build-your-own-BOWL)!
We’ll be on the lookout for additional dining updates you need to know about at Disney World and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
