We are LESS than a month away from the start of the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. In fact, we are 24 days away to be exact (and yes, we are most definitely counting the days!) We are getting more and more excited for the start of the festival — and we are also still eagerly waiting for Disney to release the menus for this year’s festival. Any day now, Disney, any day now!
While we wait, though, there are 5 major changes we are expecting at this year’s Food and Wine Festival, and they might matter more than you think! So, let’s take a look at these changes so you can be as prepared as possible.
Special Events
We were SO excited when Disney announced the return of a special event for this year’s festival: Le Petit Déjeuner Français at Chefs de France in the France Pavilion. This special event invites you to indulge in a traditional French breakfast experience with all you can eat french pastries, baguettes, cheeses, charcuterie, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, mimosas, fruit juices, coffee, and more.
We haven’t seen this special event since before 2020, and we have been hoping for the return of special events for years now! While, so far, this is the only special event that has been announced we hope this means we could see the return of more events like Party for the Senses or Cheese Seminars.
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza will likely be undergoing another transformation for the festival. While we are dearly hoping for the return of cooking seminars, Disney hasn’t announced what will be coming to CommuniCore Hall and Plaza just yet. During last year’s Food and Wine Festival, the Hall was home to the Macatizers food booth, and you could also shop festival merchandise.
We have seen this space be updated for each festival, so we will likely see another update for the Food & Wine Festival! We don’t know what exactly will be in this space, but we have enjoyed the exhibits in here for past festivals. We definitely recommend making a stop by to check it out!
Eat to the Beat Concert Series
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is included with your admission to EPCOT. You can also book an Eat to the Beat Dining Package if you would like reserved seating at the concert, though. There are a couple of new performers this year including The Beach Boys, Jordin Sparks, Bowling for Soup, and more.
These new performers could potentially draw large audiences, so you will want to plan accordingly. Of course, we don’t know for sure what type of crowds they will have, and other popular performers will likely still draw large crowds. If you are really wanting to have seats to see a particular performer, check out the Eat to the Beat Dining Packages for reserved seating!

Global Marketplace Food Booths
While we are still waiting for the official menus, we can definitely expect some new food options at the Global Marketplace Food Booths! While some dishes stay the same from year to year, we also get to try some new offerings each year. Plus, there is also the possibility of there being a brand-new booth, too. We can’t wait to see what is on the menus this year.
If you have been coming for multiple years, you might want to prioritize trying new dishes! Of course, stay tuned to DFB as we will be posting the FULL menus once they are released. As well, our team will be in EPCOT for opening day to try out everything the festival has to offer — including the new menu items. We will be bringing you our full reviews, so make sure to check those out if you are interested in the new menu items but want to know what they are like before you spend money on them!
Living with the Land
Finally, the Living with the Land attraction usually receives a special overlay for the Food & Wine Festival. The theme varies from year to year and festival to festival, but you might notice that the ride has a bit higher wait time than normal. Plus, the ride is also an escape from the heat and thunderstorms, so you might find it has even longer wait times in the afternoons!
The 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 28th until November 22nd. During the festival, you can explore the Global Marketplace Food Booths, check out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, go on themed scavenger hunts, and more.
If you want to get a head start on what to expect during the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, make sure to check out our video about the festival in 2024. While things will change from year to year, the video will give you a great idea of what to expect!
