These days, we’re seeing construction all OVER Disney World.
Many Disney World hotels are getting updates and changes, and that makes planning your visit for an overnight stay a little bit complicated. Currently, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort are some of the resorts on the refurbishment list, and their construction projects just got extended!
The Disney World website has been updated with new information on construction at these two hotels. Both spots are getting routine exterior maintenance, but the timeline for completion of these projects has been extended to 2027.
For Beach Club, there will be routine exterior maintenance until 2027, and as part of that, the port cochere will be closed until September 2025. This work could impact your views around the hotel during your stay, and at times, there may be alternate paths of travel in place to accommodate construction.
Disney’s Yacht Club is undergoing exterior maintenance until late 2026. Here, the port cochere will be closed until October 2025. Like Beach Club, some views may be impeded at times, and if construction affects walkways, alternate paths will be put in place.
You may encounter construction equipment and noise at these hotels during the daytime, but all services should remain available throughout. Pools, dining options, and other amenities are scheduled to stay open during construction.
Another thing to note if you’re planning a stay at these hotels soon is that from January 25th-31st, 2026, the Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Since there’s a Skyliner next to Beach Club, many people use it for transportation when staying there. Bus service will be available during that time.
Keep these construction projects in mind when planning your next trip — we advise you to check the websites for your hotel before booking and to scope out the refurbishment calendar on the Disney World website to check for attraction closures as well. Knowing about refurbishments will make your trip a lot smoother!

Are you confusing Beach Club with Caribbean Beach? for a Skyliner station? The Sklyliner “next” to Beach Club is the EPCOT station. So using it for transportation only takes you to HS because you would already be at EPCOT. I just don’t want someone new to WDW to read this article and think if they stay at Beach Club there would be a skyliner station at their resort.
