Not all snacks are fair game in Disney World!
For some treats, you’ll need exclusive access — not just a park ticket but maybe a ticket to a special event or a certain kind of membership. In the past, there have been some snacks that we’ve had to show ID to order, and today, we’ve rounded up the full list!
If you’ve got to show your ID — whether that be your driver’s license, passport, or something else — to order a snack, generally, there is one of two reasons. Either the snack is 1) alcoholic, and therefore you have to be 21 years old to order, or 2) it’s only available to a select group of people, like Annual Passholders. So let’s look at those categories to see some of the most popular snacks you’ll have to show ID to get!
Adults-Only Snacks
There are a number of snacks around Disney World that you can make alcholic if you’re interested in something that’s not just a straight-up regular drink. For the purposes of this list, we’re not including items that are entirely liquid or slushes, since those fall more into the beverage category.
First up, we’ve got the popular Ice Cream Martini available at L’Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion. It comes with two scoops of ice cream (your choice of flavor), with a shot of Grand Marnier, Whipped Cream Vodka, or Rum. You can buy one of these for $14.95.
If you’re more of a gelato fan, you can also find alcoholic creations at Gelateria Toscana. Here they have the Amalfi, Bronte, and Martini Mania, which are all float-style treats with different gelato and spirit combinations.
Heading over to Hollywood Studios, Epic Eats has an alcoholic Root Beer Float with Stoli Vanil Vodka. You can order it for $16.50.
At the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge, did you know you can order “adult” versions of the iconic Blue Milk and Green Milk? The Blue Milk Cooler for $17 comes with Bacardi Rum , and the Green Milk Cooler for $17 comes with Corazon Blanco Tequila.
Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom offers boozy versions of Dole Whip. Here, you can snag the Dole Whip Pineapple Cup with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum for $12.50 or the Dole Whip Pineapple Orange Soda Float with Rum for $13.50.
For a slightly different Dole Whip option, you can get the Dole Whip Pineapple Juice Float with Rum for $15.50 at Trilo-Bites in DinoLand, U.S.A.
At Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, you can order an alcohol-filled version of beignets! The Baton Rouge Beignets are $12.99 at Scat Cat’s Club — Cafe and come with two beignets jazzed up with your choice of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, or RumChata Liqueur.
And of course, we can’t forget about the exclusive lounge in EPCOT, where you have to show ID to even enter! GEO-82 is located inside Spaceship Earth and it’s a 21+ dining location, so technically, everything on the menu here requires you to show ID.
But what about the snacks that require you to show ID, even though they’re not alcoholic?
Members-Only Snacks
When we think of non-alcoholic treats that require you to show your ID, the main thing that comes to mind are Annual Passholder-exclusive snacks. One of these options is the AP-exclusive beverages that you can often find at Joffrey’s locations around the parks. They change seasonally and by location, so make sure to ask what’s available at the kiosk you visit.
Also, whenever new Annual Passholder magnets drop in the parks, they often come with a matching exclusive snack. We’ve seen offerings like Dole Whip floats, ice cream sundaes, and fun beverages to match the magnets — just pay attention to the Passholder Buzz section of the My Disney Experience app.
Finally, there are often exclusive Passholder treats when Disney World offers Annual Passholder Appreciation Month. This typically falls in the early summer (around May or June), and comes with a variety of perks.
So there you go — a list filled with snacks that you’ll have to whip out that driver’s license to order in Disney World! We’ll make sure to keep you updated if more exclusive treats drop in the parks.
