¡Hola! Greeting from SPAIN, my friends — that is, the Spain Marketplace Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
Even though Spain has a long history at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival (having returned after a hiatus in 2017), this Festival Marketplace has some tricks up its sleeve this year in the form of an all-new food menu! Please join us at the Spain Booth as we bring you our reviews of every Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
Menu
The Spain Food Booth has given its entire food menu a makeover this year, featuring three new items: the Trio de Pintxos, the Paella Caldoso, and the Basque Cheesecake!
The featured cocktail here, Summer in Spain, is brand new as well. Wine drinkers have the option to try the one returning item on the menu with the Quinta del ’67 Garnacha Tintorera.
¡Buen provecho! Let’s dig in!
Eats
We’re starting with the new Trio de Pintxos comprised of a Jamón (ham) croqueta, pan con tomate (tomato-topped bread), and a tortilla Española (Spanish omelette).
The trio comes in at $7.25. The croqueta was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a smooth texture similar to mashed potatoes. We could get the ham flavor coming through, as well as something citrusy, like lemon.
The pan con tomate has a nice tomato-y spread on top that’s bright and smooth. The bread was toasted thoroughly to be crusted on the edges and soft in the middle.
Then, the tortilla Española was mild in flavor, but held up well enough to be a finger food. It had a chew kind of like scalloped potatoes.
Seafood fans will want to pay attention to the Paella Caldoso for $8.00. This paella features rock shrimp, bay scallops, and smoked mussels!
The rice has a nice soft texture with a rich seafood flavor underneath, like it was cooked in a seafood broth. The shrimp wasn’t overcooked, but the scallops were a bit on the tough side. The mussels were dry with some chew to them, but it all came together for an overall nice effect.
The Basque Cheesecake is plated with orange sauce. This sweet treat costs $5.25 and is an eligible item for those participating in the Emile’s Fromage Montage Cheese Crawl.
The textures and flavors here were absolutely delightful. The cheesecake sticks to your fork with a creaminess without being too crumbly. The citrus flavor is light and bright with bits of orange peel in the sauce that add some extra zing. Very delicious!
What about the drinks?
Drinks
Doesn’t Summer in Spain sound lovely? This new-to-the-Festival cocktail is made with Frozen Simply Lemonade with both Yellow Chartreuse Liqueur and Green Chartreuse Liqueur, and costs $12.50. This had a very tangy, strong lemon flavor to it, so if you’re not into that punchiness, you might want to choose something else to drink. If lemonade is your dream summer drink, this might be for you!
A pour of Quinta del ’67 Garnacha Tintorera is also available for $7.50.
OVERALL
All in all, we really loved this booth! The paella served here is typically a hit with fans, and the trio was a lovely treat for those who want a little variety. Our favorite item was probably that cheesecake, which is definitely a standout dessert!
The food here is pretty heavy, with seafood, rice, and lots of carbs, so you might not want to do this booth during the hottest part of the day (or the part of the day when you’re the most sluggish).
¡Adiós! from the Spain Marketplace Booth for now! And if you’re gearing up for your own visit to the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, we’ve got more right here…
