REVIEW: You Better Be THIRSTY When You Come to This EPCOT Food & Wine Booth

Aaaah… It’s time for some Shimmering Sips at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!

The Shimmering Sips Festival Marketplace is a personal favorite of mine amongst all of the Festival Marketplaces. Why, you ask? Because it’s home to the Festival’s Mimosa Flight! On top of that, Shimmering Sips is serving up a new dessert this year, too. So as we bring you our reviews of every Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, we hope you’ll join us for some bubbly and something sweet here at Shimmering Sips!

Eats

Dessert first? This is my kind of Food Booth! We’re digging into the new Strawberry Champagne Trifle. This plant-based sweet treat costs $5.75.

Strawberry Champagne Trifle (Plant-based)

This dessert is VERY sugary and almost overly sweet. It has the texture of yogurt, but it’s not because it’s plant-based. The strawberry puree at the bottom was very sweet with the syrup of the berries. The top had an almond crumble that tasted like cereal to us. It does add a crunch, though, to the dish.

Dig in

This dish is NOT alcoholic, and for that reason, we think kids would love it. But parents beware, it is very sugary.

Drinks

Did we mention the Mimosa Flight one or three times already? Well, you’re about to see why it typically earns a spot on our Best of the Fest list… The trio of sparkling drinks boasts a Berry Mimosa, a Blood Orange Mimosa, and a Tropical Mimosa. The Flight costs $14.50, or you can choose any individual Mimosa for $7.50. This flight is a consistent option for us. We know exactly what we’re getting, juice and champagne, and for that, we love it.

The Berry Mimosa presents La Gioiosa Berry Fizz and white cranberry juice.

The Blood Orange Mimosa is made with sparkling wine and blood orange juice.

And finally, the Tropical Mimosa features sparkling wine and Minute Maid Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice. That’s right… It’s POG JUICE and WINE, my friends!

OVERALL

This is the booth to go to if you are looking for a fun twist on a classic mimosa. The flight is a great option for those looking for a familiar type of alcoholic drink at the festival, and if you love mimosas, this will be a home run for you. The Strawberry Champagne Trifle is most likely a skip unless you really have a sweet tooth. The sugar overpowered any flavors for us in this dessert. We like you’ll find better options elsewhere at the festival.
