If you’re a big fan of Frozen — or you have people in your group that love the Frozen movies — you’re probably making a beeline for the Norway Pavilion the minute you step foot in EPCOT, right?
After all, one of the most popular rides to rope drop in EPCOT is Frozen Ever After, which is a retelling of the story of the first movie, which first introduced us to Anna and Elsa. However, if you want to get the best ride experience on Frozen Ever After, we’ve got one piece of advice that will help — and it has everything to do with where you sit.
If you’ve been on Frozen Ever After, you’ll know that the ride is a water ride, similar to Pirates of the Caribbean, where you sit on a bench inside a boat. As the boats move through the attraction the story of the first Frozen movie comes to life with animatronics and projections around you. However, we recently came to a realization about these scenes.
We recently realized that there’s only one full scene on the left side: the scene with the trolls. All other full scenes of the ride are on your right. Therefore, it’s probably better if you’re sitting on the right to better see the majority of the scenes throughout the ride.
Of course, you may not have much control over where you sit, although generally parties are seated together on one bench. If you want the best view of the scenes, just make sure that when your party lines up at the loading area, you’re in the back. This will put you on the right side of the boat.
Happy Frozen Ever After-ing!

Uh, if we’re talking the EPCOT Frozen, I think this little article’s both got it backwards (slightly more is on the right) and it just isn’t true that scenes are all one sided after the Trolls. By scene as encountered-
Olaf & Sven – on right
Trolls – left
Skating Olaf – right
Anna, Kristoff & Sven – right
Elsa sings- straight ahead
Ice palace escape – left
Mashmallow monster – left
Castle/Arendelle – left and right
Olaf sings – right
And when you line up, if you’re in the back of your boat, you end up on the right of the boat. (the boats travel left to right as boarding).
