Okay, we may or may not be freaking out right now. One of our favorite TV show characters is getting her time to shine, and we’re ready to hop on a plane to experience it ourselves.
We’re massive fans of Bluey, and a United Kingdom theme park just announced that a new ride dedicated to the Heeler family is coming in spring 2026.
Alton Towers Resort is opening the world’s first Bluey ride in CBeebies Land. CBeebies is the network that airs Bluey in the U.K., and the ride will open in spring 2026.
Along with the new ride, “audiences get to experience all the Bluey fun at Alton Towers Resort, including the popular Heeler family meet-and-greets and live experience within Big Fun Showtime.” Guests can also have the “ultimate Bluey sleepover” at the CBeebies Land Hotel.
At the CBeebies Land Hotel, there are Bluey-themed rooms that look like you jumped right into the cartoon. Am I considering immediately booking a trip to the U.K. to stay in a Bluey-themed hotel room? Yes, I abostleuly am.
This is all in the U.K., but could this affect Disney Parks? Disney works with the BBC Studios, which owns Bluey, and we’ve seen Bluey and Bingo join Disney Cruise Line in New Zealand and Australia, but we haven’t seen their domestic appearance quite yet.
Back in 2024, Disney said that Bluey “will join Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on land and Disney Cruise Line at sea.” So far, Bluey has only been spotted on the cruises, but we’re ready to see the family in the parks. Knowing that a roller coaster is being built might be a sign that BBC is ready to move forward with theme park plans for Bluey.
We’re going to be keeping an eye on this (and crossing our fingers) for new information for Bluey coming to Disney Parks, but in the meantime, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more.

I would shamelessly ride a Bluey themed roller coaster, stay in a Bluey themed hotel room and regardless of my status of having children, go to the live experience within “Big Fun Showtime”. It’s just people on stage in really big mascot costumes, so there’s nothing to feel bad about for enjoying it. If anyone gave me the side eye for enjoying what makes my autistic brain happy, I’d just give them side eye back for being so judgemental. It’s not like sports fans are any different and that’s a socially acceptable interest.
