This Amazon find for our Disney World trips might be our biggest FAIL yet!
Epic fail for us at Disney World
We’re used to scouring even the furthest depths of Amazon for the latest deals we can rummage up to make our next Disney World visit even more seamless and enjoyable. So when we spotted this everyday essential, we were hopeful they’d be life-changing. But we’re still left scratching our heads about where this all went so WRONG!
When you spend all day around Disney World, subjected to the Orlando humidity and sun, chances are you’re gonna feel the sweat. And that’s not even the worst part of it — it’s the impending doom of smelling due to the sweat that might loom over your head, casting a shadow on your day at the parks.

You’ve already applied your deodorant for the day, but that’s melting off of you faster than you can bet, and soon you’ll be out of options since your stick just melted in your bag from the beaming rays. What do you do? Well, that’s exactly the question we hoped to answer with this latest Amazon find. We happened upon these Lume Acidified Deodorant Wipes, which hyped whole body protection for 24 hours in a cool cucumber scent that was made to leave you feeling refreshed. And with thousands of positive reviews, we were feeling really hopeful.

However, what we were met with was anything BUT those claims.
We tried desperately to give these wipes a chance and even used almost half a pack throughout testing them just to give them a fair shake. They’re made for use practically anywhere to freshen up and are supposed to leave behind a light scent.

However, the only time we smelled the scent was when we initially opened the package, and as time went on, we ended up using them more for cleaning rather than on our bodies. Ideally, we were looking for a product that would make us smell nice, help us feel a bit cleaner, and give us peace of mind on long Disney days — unfortunately, this brand just didn’t make the cut with us. Maybe we got a bad batch? But we were just expecting so much more.
Not all hope is lost, though! We’re keen to recognize that not every brand for a product we try is an instant success. While we’re used to having good luck with things on the first try, there’s another brand of similar deodorant wipes that caught our eye.

Instead of a bulky large package, we totally appreciated that each of these Dew Well wipes is individually wrapped to preserve its freshness and make it easy to take in your bag on the go, while traveling, or even stash in your desk or car. So these might just be next on our list to try!
