A man robbed Paddlefish, a Disney Springs restaurant, just after midnight on Monday, September 15th.

Paddlefish is right along the water, and according to WFTV9, the man swam up in scuba gear and a wetsuit. He then swam away after stealing somewhere between $10,000-$20,000.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, and the incident happened after the restaurant closed to guests for the night, based on the latest report from the sheriff’s office.

The report says the robber forced two employees to close their eyes in the corner of the room. Some reports say they were tied up, while others have not confirmed this detail. The employees stated that he left within two minutes, and they called 911 immediately.

Levy Restaurants, the owner of Paddlefish, gave ClickOrlando a brief statement: “We have no comment; this is an active investigation.”
The man has not been found by authorities yet. A photo was released of the man from a security camera, and the employees said that he was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall.

We can try to ignore the fact that Disney is going downhill fast or we can demand that they start increasing safety, security, appearance, atmosphere and guest relations right now.
While the method of this burglary sounded quite absurd and it apparently was after hours it does not lessen the feeling that the Disney “bubble” has been pierced and has beginning of a gaping hole.
I never thought that I would hear a story like this coming from Disney property but here it is.
Those of you who are willing to write this off as something insignificant may need to think twice about how much the real world is creeping into the once complete getaway destination.
Brawling, fighting, confrontations, intoxication and now theft at a restaurant are making it hard to make this a place where a person can let their guard down almost completely. A truly sad descent into yet more disregard for the Disney guest

I agree with Mike, it sounds like an inside job. as for the brawling, fighting and intoxication, I’m sorry that’s a bit much so i disagree with that comment but everyone is allowed their opinion.
Bill, Disney is not going down fast the world is going down fast. Its happening all over, come on there’s fights going on inside the parks and not just Disney everywhere. And really I’m not surpriised look at our leaders.
Liars, despicable human beings running our government and it never their fault – really who do we learn it from, who drive us to be like this. Some people don’t want to face it but its a fact. The same old story if they’re getting away with it why can’t we.
How come they’re not saying what he sounded like? I think that would be a good clue. I agree most likely an inside job.
