Reach out and find your happily ever after — wait, wrong nighttime spectacular! Instead of the fireworks, please picture Mickey Mouse doing the arm shimmy at the beginning of Fantasmic.
Fantasmic is located in Hollywood Studios and is one show you won’t want to miss. Before you head to the theater, make sure you know the new showtimes, and get ready to use your imagination.
Fantasmic will now play at 8 PM and 9:30 PM, instead of 8:30 PM and 10 PM, starting September 18th. See? You totally would have missed the show if you didn’t check out the new hours, and that’s something we don’t want to happen.
This show is a great way to see tons of Disney characters, including Moana, Elsa, Mulan, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and lots of other princesses. Many characters have their own moments during the show, and then at the end, all come out on a steamboat with Mickey himself leading them across the water.
Maleficent is also there as a 40-foot-tall dragon, and yes, it’s as cool as you think. That part is Mickey’s nightmare, so you’ll have to help him use his imagination to fight it.
Out of all the shows at Fantasmic, you won’t want to skip it, but during the day, there’s also great entertainment to enjoy. Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After opened recently, and you’ll be introduced to three villains, and you’ll have to decide who was treated most unfairly.
The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure is a newly reimagined version of the original Little Mermaid show, and you get to go under the sea with Ariel.
Another super fun show is Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. This has been at Hollywood Studios since 1989 and is perfect for the whole family. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how different stunts in movies are done, and it truly is an epic spectacle.
Check out Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage, too. This is a shortened version of the stage product of Beauty and the Beast, and you get to see lots of dancing and singing, and it is the perfect show if you’re into the classics.
There’s so much to see at Hollywood Studios, but don’t forget to check out the showtimes in the My Disney Experience app before planning your day, so you don’t have to miss anything. Keep following Disney Food Blog for more.
