Well, today is one of those days when we have some news to share. We found some random dates when Park Pass reservations at Disneyland are not available, and well, the sold-out dates might surprise you!
The Inspire Key is the highest-tiered Annual Pass, also known as Magic Key, at Disneyland and has the fewest blockout dates — but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. On September 26th, only Disneyland Park is currently available, with reservations for Disney California Adventure totally booked up. Of course, more Park Pass availability could open up, so keep checking the calendar!

On October 3rd, the sold-out date situation is the opposite of what we noticed above, where you can go to Disney California Adventure and not Disneyland Park. October 31st, Halloween, is booked for both parks, which makes sense since people love to spend the holidays at Disneyland, no matter the holiday!

Another date that has us scratching our heads is November 11th, when Disneyland Park is full and Disney California Adventure is open. As we get closer to Christmas reservations opening, if you want to go to the parks, make sure you’re booking those reservations so you don’t miss your chance. While it might feel silly to book reservations months out, if you know you’ll want to go, this will help ensure that the whole family will be able to visit together.

There’s a lot of fun happening right now at Disneyland, including the Halloween season! One of my favorite parts is the Haunted Mansion Holiday, where Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas take over the mansion with their own creepy twist.

Soon enough, it will turn into Christmas time, which always feels magical. There are lots of Christmas trees, sparkling lights, and special ride overlays, like “it’s a small world” Holiday, which makes the ride even more special.

Oh, and don’t forget — Disney has some STRICT rules for Magic Key Holders when it comes to Park Pass Reservations. According to the official Disneyland website, Magic Key holders who are a no-show for three reservations in any 90-day window will be unable to make new park reservations or modify existing park reservations for 30 days. Basically, this means once you make those reservations, you’d better be COMMITTED.
