A LOT of new things are coming to Disney World. THREE out of the four theme parks are getting new lands, with some parks getting updated rides, experiences, and expansions. It’s WILD.
However, we also can’t count out Disney Springs because something new is headed there, too. It’s a gaming experience called Level 99, and something NEW has popped up at this experience’s location: Level 99’s logo and ad is running on the marquee of the building. WOO!
LEVEL99 is moving into the old NBA Experience building, so we’ve been keeping an eye on that location. Well, recently we visited the location and something NEW had appeared there. The marquee is flashing the Level 99 logo, as well as a short ad running on a loop advertising the spot.
The ad also shows some of the activities that will be available at the experience. For those who don’t know about LEVEL99, it’s a destination for “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment” for adults with over 60 physical and mental challenges. It’s a giant real-world, futuristic arcade and entertainment center. The location in Disney Springs will be the largest LEVEL99 to date.
Yep, there will be handcrafted food and drinks available at LEVEL99 to keep you fueled between challenges. So you know we’re all in!
There will be three kinds of experiences available at LEVEL99: rooms, duels, and art hunts. Rooms are cooperative games with 2-6 players that can are either physical, skill, or mental challenges. Duels are head-to-head challenges with other players. Art hunts are scavenger hunts where you’re tasked with finding art throughout the space.
We haven’t heard any news about LEVEL99 recently, and we were actually starting to get a little worried. However, this seems to be a good sign that this project is still happening, although we don’t have an opening timeline. The building’s previous experience, the NBA Experience, closed in 2020, and nothing has happened in there since. We’re glad to see some progress being made.
Stay tuned to DFB for more.

This sounds like a big mistake, attracting the wrong rowdy crowd, ready to fight and be too loud and boisterous, encouraging bad behavior in Disney Springs when they leave the building. I’m extremely upset . This place is totally inappropriate for Wdw. We won’t be going anywhere near it or any of the places around it. Extremely disappointed that Disney’s allowed this and that they think it adds to the relaxing magic of Wdw and Disney Springs. Lately it seems that Disney is doing everything it can to ruin guest experiences and discourage longtime, loyal guests from ever wanting to return….and spend their hard-earned money! The magic and pixie dust are gone….terribly sad….😟
I think it sounds like a more physical version of Disney Quest. The only thing that bothers me is that it’s not owned by Disney so won’t be included in the 14 day UK tickets like Disney Quest was. A lot of the new activities and restaurants now are too expensive for our budget.
