When you think of the BEST restaurants to get your grub on around Disney World, we’re willing to bet there’s one hidden gem you’re leaving out! We’ve dined at them all — the upscale, the casual, and everything in between. But, what truly sets this restaurant apart is some of its most popular dishes that folks rave about for years after dining here — and for good reason!
We recently stopped by Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Disney Springs to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
Atmosphere
Who says bowling alley food has to be boring? Certainly not Disney World! You’ll find Splitsville’s massive mult-story building located within the West Side area of Disney Springs. It’s right next to a few other popular Disney Springs stops like AMC Theaters, and a few other neighboring restaurants like Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew and Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres.
While it’s hard to peel your eyes away at first glance, when you step inside, the fun is just beginning. You’re immediately greeted at the front host stand, and when you check in for your reservation, it’s hard not to notice the multiple bowling lanes available on BOTH floors.
While it might “strike” you as a classic bowling alley and borderline pub or bar, there’s also a full dining room available. You’ll have your pick of booths and tables…
…as well as available seating at the bar.
But contrary to what you might initially think, you don’t have to bowl to dine here… and you don’t have to dine to bowl here! You can choose either activity or both. However, it’s important to make sure of which experiences you’re making a reservation for because both dining and bowling are booked separately.
But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
The menu here might best be described as upscale pub grub. Here you’ll find an extensive menu of drinks…
…as well as popular dishes to chow down on like burgers, pizza, sushi, and more!
Want a little something sweet at the end of your meal? Several desserts are available, too.
And now, onto the main event — the food!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the Loaded Fries for our appetizer, which cost us $16. This is made of crinkle cut fries smothered with queso blanco, bacon, ranch, scallions, and love (that’s what it says…and we LOVE that). On the menu, it’s billed to serve two or more for one plate. This is listed as an appetizer, but y’all, this is a MEAL, possibly for two people or more. The toppings are literally everything we ever want on fries. Although there is a LOT, it doesn’t really feel super heavy.
Word of warning, though. We also ordered a burger (we’ll get to that in a bit), which also came with fries, so we experienced a bit of fry overload. So if you’re ordering an entree, maybe see what sides are available and see if you can’t switch it out if you don’t want even MORE fries. But, yeah, we could feel the love put into these loaded fries.
For our entree, we were feeling extra hungry, so we decided to try out the sushi! We opted for the Volcano Roll, which costs $20. This is made of tempura shrimp rolled with avocado and cream cheese and topped with spicy crab mix, spicy mayo, and sriracha. One thing we love about a roll like this is that it’s accessible even for those who don’t love sushi. This roll is just spot on, although the spicy crab mix in it is NO joke. When you taste it, you get the brininess from the crab, but then you get that kick. Oh, did we mention how pretty this roll is?
We didn’t really taste much of the cream cheese, but the spicy mayo and sriracha added additional flavor. If you’re feeling extra brave, it comes with a little dab of wasabi on the side. We were NOT feeling that brave, though…it was a “nope” from us. But this roll is a great one to pick for those who are a little on the fence about sushi.
To round out our main meal, we also ordered Buzzy’s Bacon Burger for $23. This dish is a burger topped with melted cheddar, crispy bacon, ketchup, and mayo. It’s also served with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle on the burger with fries as your side. This is the closest you’re going to get to that backyard grilled burger at home in a restaurant. It may not be the BEST burger we’ve ever had, but it surprised us. This one is a crowd pleaser. And it’s HUGE.
Warning, though: you can taste the onion even if you take it off. So if you don’t like onions, be sure to ask for it without onions. The pickles are on the bottom and add a nice flavor. We did hate that the bun seemed to be soggy from all the juices, but the burger itself was cooked really well. We also wished it had more cheese — the layer of cheese was thin.
And we couldn’t leave without dessert, so we decided to wind down our entire experience with the Super Sundae for $9. This is made of heaping scoops of vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with colorful sprinkles, chocolate and caramel syrup, and whipped cream. Well, this just solidified this restaurant in our minds. We liked that there weren’t a ton of toppings, and the sprinkles were just there for a little sweet crunch. The vanilla is more of that creamy yellow vanilla ice cream that reminds us of childhood, and the chocolate just melts in your mouth because it’s also so creamy.
We think maybe we shouldn’t love this as much as we did, but here we are. It’s a basic sundae, but it hit JUST right.
Okay, so let’s talk about drinks.
Drinks
To drink, we picked up the Rumrunner for $16. This drink combines 151 Rum, blackberry brandy, Crème de Banana, pineapple, and lime. This is a pre-mixed drink, so don’t expect something that’s freshly mixed. It’s sort of like a rum punch. However, it’s pretty good and it’s not super strong. We really didn’t taste the blackberry brandy, though, but the pineapple adds to the drink’s fruity taste.
It’s served frozen like a slush, so you’ll want to go ahead and start sipping on it as soon as your server brings it out, or you’ll end up with a melted mess.
Nosh or Not
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want to go bowling. If you’re in the mood for some bowling, this is OBVIOUSLY the spot you want to visit. The great food is just the cherry on top.
- You’re craving sushi. Who knew you could go to a bowling alley and get good sushi, right? But that’s what you’ll find here.
- You want backyard barbecue vibes. Everything that we ate, save for maybe the sushi, gave us backyard cookout vibes, right down to the ice cream.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You want a more foodie experience. This isn’t fine dining. This is eating in a bowling alley, although the food here is slightly elevated from that.
- You’re on a budget. This place isn’t super expensive, but if you add on bowling, it could easily add up.
- You want a quiet place to dine. Things can get a little noisy here, what with the bowling and all. If you’re looking for a quiet lunch or dinner, this isn’t it.
So what did we think about our entire experience at Splitsville?
Overall
Splitsville Luxury Lanes is a bowling alley that also just happens to be a restaurant. Unlike most bowling alleys we’ve visited, the food here is actually pretty solid — plus the sushi is great, which is not something you’d expect at a bowling alley. The prices are decent (for Disney World), and hey, if you also want to fire up a bowling game with some friends, that’s an option, too.

I love Splitsville! We had my granddaughter‘s 10 th birthday party there during a visit to Disney World and it was wonderful. Yes, we bowled and we ate. And yes, we had sushi. It was delicious and I loved every bit of it.
We have bowled and dined at Splitsville, and I remember being favorably impressed by our food as well. I wish we had held out to go upstairs, but we had a nice experience on the first floor.
