It’s certainly no secret that Disney World is undergoing some significant changes right now.

Over at Magic Kingdom, new Cars and Villains-themed areas are being built, while Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand is being transformed into Pueblo Esperanza. While nothing quite as major has changed at Disney Springs this year, there have been updates you probably still need to know about!

While Disney Springs may not be undergoing a huge overhaul like some of the Disney World parks, there were still some big changes that took place in 2025. Let’s take a look.

Get ready for games

LEVEL99, an interactive, social entertainment experience known for its challenge rooms, will open its first-ever Florida location in Disney Springs!

This new addition will mark LEVEL99’s fifth location — a first-of-its-kind (okay, fifth) destination for real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment for adults featuring over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments. It’s essentially a giant, futuristic arcade and entertainment center.

While the new attraction itself hasn’t opened, we did spot an exciting change when we were at Disney Springs recently — LEVEL99 has started showing advertisements and gameplay on the giant screen outside the building!

A spooky new tradition

There’s a NEW Halloween bar in Disney World! Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is one of our favorite themed hangouts in Disney World, located in The Landing at Disney Springs.

The restaurant itself is Indiana Jones-themed, but around the holiday season, it gets a festive overlay. This year, for the first time, Jock Lindsey’s is also doing a Halloween overlay!

Caffeine pick-me-up

The Starbucks on the West Side of Disney Springs was closed for refurbishment for a while, and when it reopened, it had a brand-new look! 

As you make your way through the entrance, you’re greeted by a similar setup as before, only this time, you might notice it looks a little different. The mural that decorates just above the ordering counter stretches throughout the room and now depicts a tropical scene with colorful animals, birds, and fanning leaves.

It’s a nice update that really helps brighten the room as you walk in and sets the tone for your experience inside. The rest of the seating area indoors and outside looks very similar to the layout that was here before. Aside from a few more lighter touches, this appears to be the biggest difference we were able to note about the reopened location.

An adorable new trend

Alright, this might not be “major” in the traditional sense of the word, but if you know anything about us here at DFB, you’ll know that we can’t get enough of the adorable trend of putting tiny little animals in drinks. We’ve spotted a few at eet by Maneet Chauhan, like this dragon…

…and this little octopus!

But, we’ve also seen this trend over at The Polite Pig with the Pigsty…

…and the Pig Lagoon.

The BOATHOUSE likely started this whole thing, with its iconic Duck Duck Razz drink featuring a rubber duck. Keep the animal drinks coming, Disney Springs!
