Heading to Disney World soon and want to know where to find the BEST desserts? You’ve come to the right place!
Here at the Disney Food Blog, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Rosie’s All-American Café at Hollywood Studios to check out a staple dessert and are bringing you our FULL review!
We stopped by Rosie’s All-American Café recently to check out the seasonal Peach Cobbler. We’ve seen this come and go in the past, both here and at Backlot Express, but it’s always a treat when it’s around! You can pick up the Peach Cobbler for $5.49, and it’s house-made with brown sugar streusel topped with whipped cream.
To say we were thrilled with this would be an understatement. Our reporter, who tried this, considers herself “somewhat of a peach cobbler snob,” and said that this one was a hit all the way around. There was a nice sweetness with the brown sugar and cinnamon, and it paired so well with the peaches — which tasted super fresh, not canned.
The peaches were firm and not soggy, which can sometimes happen with cobblers or pies. The layer of spongey cake was a nice addition, if not truly cobbler in style. It was bouncy and moist, and the whipped cream was so light and decadent. When you got a bite of the peaches, the streusel, and the whipped topping altogether, it was like heaven! We wish this one were around all the time.
If you see it on the menu while you’re at Disney World, make sure you check it out!
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
