Disney World is changing at an unprecedented rate! We feel like we’re getting whiplash each week with new Disney updates, changes, and more. We love Disney news, but the last few years have been a lot.

Disney World’s Magic Kingdom
From major theme park expansions to huge changes coming to the cruise line, the Walt Disney Company has been a busy, busy group! To help keep up with all of these changes, we’ve been doing a weekly news roundup that has the biggest changes and updates. Let’s dive into the Disney World chaos from this week!
Are you ready for more Disney World changes? So are we! From the biggest surprises to happy confirmations, there’s been a lot going on this week.
Remy’s Ratatouille Updates
EPCOT is getting in on the big changes because one of its most popular rides is getting a major update! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be closed from November 10th to 13th as Disney switches things over to the new 2D system, a change from the current 3D experience. Disney also shared that new props and lighting will be added to the queue and attraction over the coming months.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Disney has yet to share what types of props or lighting will be added, or what, if any, downtime might be expected due to these changes. This was something Disney previously announced was happening at the original Disneyland Paris version of the ride, so it was likely only a matter of time before the changes made their way to EPCOT as well.

Hey, Remy!
The last day to toss on those 3D glasses will be on November 9th, 2025. We’re eager to see the changes, especially because many guests found the current version of the ride nauseating.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether Updates
Over in Animal Kingdom, the opening of Zootopia: Better Zoogether is drawing near! In preparation for the new attraction’s opening, Disney released the official poster for the attraction!

The poster features Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, along with more familiar faces from the Disney film. We even spotted another look at a new friend, exclusive to the attraction, named Heidi Howler. In addition to the poster, Disney also confirmed that the new attraction will be a Lightning Lane option in the park.

That means your new list of attractions you can choose from for Lightning Lane Multi Pass includes:
- DINOSAUR
- Expedition Everest
- Feathered Friends in Flight!
- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!
- Kali River Rapids
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- Na’vi River Journey
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether

The show opens on November 7th, 2025, and previews for the attraction will take place on November 5th and 6th!

The Jingle Cruise Is Back
Finally, a popular holiday ride overlay is returning! The Jingle Cruise is back in 2025, and we are so excited! The popular Magic Kingdom ride will transform into its holiday version starting on November 3rd, 2025.

The Jingle Cruise!
Guests will get to hear some new punny jokes on the cruise appropriate for the season, and they’ll get to enjoy a queue that’s been decorated for the season (and the Jingle Cruise queue makes standing in the long lines for the ride SO worth it). Even the famous Jungle Cruise boats get renamed for the season to give them more of a holiday feel.

Jingle Cruise
The Jingle Cruise brings something else to the ride…LONG lines. This holiday ride is VERY popular, so if you want to grab a ride on it, be prepared to stand in some long lines. However, the ride is available through Lightning Lane Multi Pass, so you may want to consider paying for that to skip the long standby lines for the shorter Lightning Lane.

A little boat modification for the holidays
This is one of a handful of holiday overlays you can find around Disney World, and it’s a major sign Christmas is on the way! We are enjoying every second of Halloween, but we won’t lie, this news has us ready to put those Christmas trees up!
