Fourth of July Fireworks
They’re also famous for their mind-blowing fireworks and nighttime spectaculars! One of their most popular shows is the Fourth of July spectacular, which brings in massive crowds. In 2026, you can avoid those high temperatures and shoulder-to-shoulder crowds while still enjoying the popular fireworks show — all from home!
If you didn’t know, 2026 is a big year for America! The country is turning 250 years old, and Disney is celebrating big time. The Walt Disney Company is kicking off a new initiative called Disney Celebrating America, which begins on Veterans Day in 2025.

The almost year-long celebration will ” honor America’s past, celebrate the present, and inspire its future.” They’re celebrating in several ways, one of which is bringing a brand-new version of Soarin’ to both Disney World and Disneyland! While a lot of the celebrations will be in the theme parks, you can even celebrate at home.

The festivities will wrap up on the 4th of July weekend with a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast called Disney Celebrates America. The broadcast will also end with a bang (literally) with a special broadcast from Disney World and Disneyland, showcasing the special fireworks for the American holiday!

The show will be included live on platforms including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic. Anchor and editor David Muir will host the daylong special along with ABC News anchors, ESPN commentators, and National Geographic reporters from across the country. The entire special will be to “spotlight the wonder, achievements, and dreams that define the American spirit.”

The Walt Disney Company has had a long-standing history of telling our country’s history, so this is no surprise that they’re celebrating this big birthday. We’re eager to see what all the live stream will include, and we appreciate any chance to watch Disney fireworks without needing a park ticket.
