When you’re packing your bag for Disney World, you may be stuck between packing a larger bag to ensure you have everything you need or packing a smaller bag to keep your shoulders from hurting all day.
We’ve tried out TONS of park bags since we’re in the parks nearly every day, which also means we’ve filled them with various essentials. Some were big wins that we’d use time and time again, while others we tried once and vowed to never pack them again. If you’re heading into the parks soon and are feeling a little lost, don’t stress, we’re here to help — here are the essentials we have in our bag each time we walk into the park!
Keep That Phone Charged
You use your phone for SO many things in Disney World — Lightning Lane reservations, checking wait times, photos and videos, not to mention using it to navigate your way around the park. Your phone’s battery will run out FAST, which is why having a portable charger is essential, and we recommend FuelRods! Not only are these pretty powerful on their own, but you can also swap them out in the parks for fully charged ones when yours dies (as long as you’re willing to give up the ones you purchased, of course). Or, you can charge them back in your hotel room each night.
Sometimes a Small Breeze is All You Need
Even during the cooler months in Disney World, it’s often much warmer than other areas of the United States, and if you’re used to a colder climate, you may still find yourself hot in the parks. Pack the JISULIFE Handheld Mini Fan in your bag so you’re never without a way to create a small breeze! Not to mention that this also acts as a portable charger AND a flashlight, both of which can come in handy while you’re in the parks.
Never Struggle With Your Loungefly Again
If you’ve ever struggled to find an item inside your Loungefly bag (I’ve been there far too many times), you won’t want to go into the parks without the HOYOFO Mini Backpack Organizer! All you need to do is put this organizer inside your Loungefly, and then you can organize your items much more easily. It’s come in handy for us MANY times!
Stay Hydrated!
No matter what time of year it is, it’s incredibly important to stay hydrated. One of our favorite water bottles to grab is an Owala, and we find a lot of our team loves using them around the parks. They keep your drinks cold all day, are easy to attach to many bags, and we love that it has a lid cover, so you don’t need to worry about germs getting on the part you drink out of.
Speaking of Germs…
If you want to get super fancy, we recommend grabbing yourself the Touchland & Disney Special Edition Hand Sanitizer + Mist Case to bring along with you to keep your hands clean when you’re not around a bathroom (though you’re usually not more than a few minutes from one, no matter where you are in the parks). Now, any hand sanitizer will do the trick, but this one not only looks super cute and is easy to clip to a bag, but it also helps keep your hands moisturized.
Rain Can Happen At ANY Time
We’re currently in the rainy season in Orlando, as well as hurricane season, and that means rain can hit when you least expect it, even when the radar doesn’t show anything. That’s why we recommend bringing our favorite poncho, the Frogg Toggs Poncho, with you to the parks every day just to be safe. It’s saved our butts more times than we can count!
Not A Fan of Ponchos? No Worries!
While the BAODINI Travel Essentials Mini Umbrella is great to keep rain off of you, it’s also a great way to keep the sun off of you! This is a UV umbrella, and we’ve experienced firsthand how much it can lower the temperature around you under the umbrella. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s dropped the temp by what feels like 10 degrees for us before, which is a HUGE help.
Stylish Sunglasses!
No matter what time of year it is, it’s SUNNY in Orlando, and we don’t want you hurting your eyes as you walk around the park. Having sunglasses for this very reason is essential, and what could be better than the Mouse Ears Sunglasses? Nothing, that’s what! They’re perfect for the parks, and we have a feeling everyone will be asking you where you got them.
We keep our eyes peeled for the latest and greatest deals to help you prepare for your Disney trips, so stay tuned to DFB!
