If you’re planning a Disney World trip soon, you’ll want to grab your snacks and sit down for this one.

Disney just announced a wave of new dining updates across the parks, and we’re talking everything from restaurant closures and new popcorn buckets to holiday treats for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. Whether you’re heading to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios, there’s a lot to unpack, and we’re breaking it all down right here so you don’t miss a bite.

Let’s start with the big news over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Harambe Market Temporarily Closed

Harambe Market has officially closed for refurbishment as of October 20th, 2025, and it’s expected to reopen in early 2026. While we’ll miss grabbing those rice bowls and ribs for a while, there are still some great quick-service options in the park.

Flame Tree Barbecue and Satu’li Canteen are both solid picks. Harambe Market is set to reopen with new menu items soon!

DinoLand U.S.A. Closures Continue

Over in DinoLand U.S.A., the transformation into the new Tropical Americas–themed land, Pueblo Esperanza, is ramping up. Dino Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites have both permanently closed as of October 20th, joining other shuttered spots in the area like The Boneyard and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus are still open for now, but Disney has confirmed that the rest of the land will close on February 2nd, 2026.

It’s definitely sad to say goodbye to some of our old DinoLand favorites, but the new land sounds promising, especially with the “Encanto” and “Indiana Jones” vibes Disney has teased.

Popcorn Bucket Mania

A brand-new popcorn bucket is on the way to Animal Kingdom, and it’s one that “Zootopia” fans will love. The Zootopia: Better Zoogether Popcorn Bucket debuts November 7th, the same day the new “Zootopia: Better Zoogether” show premieres in the park!

The bucket features Nick Wilde lounging with his feet up while Judy Hopps drives their Zoogether Day cop car. The wheels actually move, and the strap is decorated with characters from the show wearing carrot vision glasses.

And that’s not all, Disney just announced a holiday popcorn bucket lineup that’s going to have collectors racing to the carts.

• New Holiday Christmas Tree Truck Bucket – coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney’s Aulani Resort, Disney Cruise Line sailings, and Disneyland Resort.

• Gold Musical Rotating Tin Bucket – returning to Hollywood Studios starting November 7th.

• Mickey Elf Bucket – returning to EPCOT on November 7th (formerly a Christmas Party exclusive).

• Mickey Toy Soldier Drummer Sipper – available at multiple quick-service locations across the parks.

Plus, for the first time ever, you can buy the Sulley Santa Popcorn Bucket and Donald Duck Holiday Sipper online.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Treats

The 2025 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party menu is stacked with new and returning goodies, and this year’s lineup might be the biggest yet. You’ll find festive eats and sips all over Magic Kingdom — from Main Street Bakery’s Christmas Wreath Cupcake and Casey’s Corner’s Holiday Pot Roast Hot Dog, to Be Our Guest Restaurant’s Baked Brie and Caramelized Apple Tart, and Cinderella’s Royal Table’s Hazelnut Carriage Cake.
