The holidays have arrived at Disney World, and our team is ready to get JOLLY!
We are here on the first night of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2025. Come along with us as we eat and see EVERYTHING at this year’s party so you can be in the know. Let’s go!
This post will be updated throughout the evening as we experience more of Jollywood Nights, so make sure to keep checking back for the latest updates!
Crowds
The event runs from 7:30PM until 12:30AM, but with a party ticket, you can get into Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning at 6PM. So, we made sure we were at the entrance and were ready to go by 6PM.
The line to get in was ridiculously long for the first night, with several switchbacks and close quarters. They had to start letting people in a little early because we were LITERALLY running out of space. We’ll be interested to see how these crowds translate once we’re inside the park.
Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event that happens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on select nights from November 8th and December 22nd, 2025.
Party Map
You will also be able to pick up your party map once you are inside Hollywood Studios. It will have all the information you need, including details about entertainment, which attractions are open, dining locations, and other event activities!
The map inside will give you a detailed look of all the locations of interest during the party! You will be able to take a look at Entertainment Highlights and see where you can meet characters, find PhotoPass photographers, and more.
The map this year is jam-packed with information, and it is a hefty guide! Cast Members were handing out maps as we walked in, so it should be easy to find one when you arrive.
It’s also a pretty nice souvenir from your party visit! This year’s version feels high quality and has pretty much anything you’d want to know about the event inside.
Seriously, this will make your evening so much smoother!
Entertainment
Disney Holidays in Hollywood
This is a holiday extravaganza that features appearances from some of your favorite Disney characters and is hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. You can see this show at 8:15PM, 9:15PM, 11:00PM, and midnight.
Throughout the show, you’ll see a wide variety of Disney characters. Mickey and Minnie are there, of course, but also Belle and Princess Tiana, performing musical numbers.
There’s dancing, singing, and lots of holiday fun. It’s a can’t-miss if you’re a Muppets fan, especially.
What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along
This show takes place in the Hyperion Theater and will have you following two friends on a larger-than-life journey into the tales of The Nightmare Before Christmas. You will also get to sing-along to some of your favorite songs from the movie! You can see the show at 7:30PM, 8:30PM, 9:30PM, 11:30PM, and 12:30AM.
The scenes between each of the songs are quite clever, and Jack Skellington himself even makes an appearance!
Holiday Fiesta en la Calle
You can experience a lively street fair with spirited musicians performing Latin holiday tunes at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle. Plus, look for Disney pals, Miguel from Coco, and José Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros. This fiesta takes place from 7:30PM to 12:30AM, near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
We stopped by for a few minutes and had a BLAST! The dance parties are usually a lot of fun at Jollywood Nights.
Pixar Disco
Edna Mode, Frozone, Joy, Mike Wazowski, and other Pixar pals can be spotted at this rockin’ dance party. To check it out, head to Pixar Plaza from 7:30PM to 9:30PM and 10:30PM to 12:30AM.
This is a must-do for Pixar fans and families with little kids because the characters are so much fun to interact with!
Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club
You can also make your way over to The Hollywood Tower Hotel to visit the Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club. Here you’ll find live music, festivities, and a bar. It is the perfect jazzy ambiance!
The sets begin at 7:30PM, 8:10PM, 8:50PM, 9:30PM, 10:30PM, 11:10PM, and 11:50PM. This one definitely brings the old Hollywood vibes!
Glisten!
Watch in awe as international champion skaters perform breathtaking routines set to a vibrant holiday soundtrack—featuring original songs and Disney favorites like “Be Our Guest” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
You can catch performances on Hollywood Boulevard at 8:10PM, 9:10PM, 10:30PM, 11:10PM, and midnight. How often do you get to see people ice skating in Florida?!

Character Meet and Greets
There are SO many characters to be found around Jollywood Nights, but this year, four of them are NEW. First up, we’ve got Chewbacca in his Life Day outfit, meeting in Galaxy’s Edge. Of course, you can meet Chewbacca all the time in this park, but the costume is what’s truly unique!
If you’re a die-hard Toy Story fan, you’re going to go berserk for Partysaurus Rex! He meets in Toy Story Land during Jollywood Nights this year. He’s such a rare Disney character to see!
Over near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, you may spot Miguel from Coco, also new to the event this year. This is currently the only way to get up close and personal with him in Disney World.
Who’s your friend who likes to play?! BING BONG! The imaginary friend from Inside Out is making friends in the Grand Avenue area of the park during Jollywood Nights.
You could fill literally your ENTIRE party with rare character meets, so if that’s your thing, you definitely want to snag a ticket to Jollywood!

Photo Ops
Of course, if you’re going to pay for a party ticket, you’re going to want to snap some commemorative pics while you’re there! The photo ops start as early as the Jollywood Nights entrance — once you enter the park, you’ll be directed behind Sunset Boulevard, where there are multiple photo ops set up.
They’ve got a few PhotoPass photographers back here as well to help snap that perfect shot. You can’t forget to say hello to the event mascot, Ollie the Gingerbread Man!
Throughout the night, you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for the PhotoPass photographers — they often have fun props, special angles, or even unique Magic Shots.
Attractions
If you want to hop on some rides with very short wait times (Rise of the Resistance, we’re looking at you), this is a good opportunity to do that. You can even catch a performance of The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure.
We will warn you, though, that you should probably prioritize party activities because there’s a lot to see and do that you can’t do during a regular day in Hollywood Studios.
Food & Drinks
If you’re hoping to snack your way through the party, you’re in LUCK. There are so many different exclusive treats this year, and we’re trying several of them. We started the night with the Kermit Mint Whirl and Miss Piggy Strawberry Glam from Hollywood Scoops.
Over at The Market, we tried a few different Pixar-inspired treats. We had the Mike-aroon, the Bing Bong Candy Lemonade, and the Caramel Apple Cider. The lemonade was the standout here, but the Mike-aroon would be delicious for a coconut lover.
If you’re in the mood for churros, head over to Ice Cold Hydraulics! For Jollywood Nights, they’ve got Jolly Gingerbread Mini Churros with gingerbread flavor and chocolate-hazelnut sauce drizzed on top.
KRNR The Rock Station over by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster also got some exclusive treats this year. To drink, you can snag the Spiced Apple Sangria or the White Cranberry Margarita. The Arepas de Choclo will help curb your hunger, and then you can round out with dessert by ordering the Churro Sundae.
Backlot Express probably has the most expansive menu of the bunch! Here, we ordered the Hickory Holiday Mac, the Jolly Jam Slider, the Sleigh Bell Brussels Sprouts, the Sweet Chili Cheer Chicken Slider, the Holly Jolly Bread Pudding, and the Figgy Pudding Martini.

Merchandise
If you’re hoping to get your hands on some exclusive souvenirs, then you’ll want to stop by the Mickey Shorts Theater lobby to check out the merchandise lineup.
There were several products available, including apparel, accessories, mugs, and more. This was probably the best collection we’ve seen for Jollywood Nights since it first started a few years ago.
If you want to see the full array of items, check out this post.
Complimentary Ornament
As you leave the party, you’ll get a bonus gift for attending: a free ornament. It even comes in a cute little Jollywood Nights gift bag.
The ornament is a frame ornament, so you can put a photo in it to hang on your tree.
Thanks for following along with us at Jollywood Nights! Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more holiday news at the Disney parks.
