It’s the first night of one of the BEST things to do in Disney World this holiday season. Yep, that’s right — we’re at Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

We’re here!
This hard-ticketed event runs on select nights in November and December, and it takes place after Hollywood Studios has closed to regular guests for the day. That means that one of the best things about this party is the lower crowd level when compared to a regular day. So let’s see what those crowds and wait times are really like on opening night!
Crowds
When we arrived at the park around 5:30 PM, we noticed that there was already a massive line to get into the party!

The line at Jollywood Nights!
The hub was filled with people set in lines that stretched all the way back to the security.

Look how far back it goes!
You may not have to wait in long lines for attractions, but there might be a long line to get into the park!

Everyone’s waiting!
Let’s check out those wait times!
Wait Times
Several Hollywood Studios rides are open during Jollywood Nights, and we had to check them out! If you’re hoping to hop on some rides, the wait times are pretty great. You’ll have lots of time to do attractions AND all the exclusive party events. Once we were in, this is what wait times looked like — keep in mind that there were still some regular day guests in the park around 6 PM:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster – 45 minutes
- Tower of Terror – 40 minutes
- Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway – 40 minutes
- Star Tours – 5 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance – 10 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 20 minutes
- Toy Story Mania – 35 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash – 40 minutes
- Alien Swirling – 15 minutes

Riding popular attractions like Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster while waiting for under an hour is a huge benefit to attending the party. The biggest standout has to be 10 minutes for Rise of the Resistance — you will rarely wait that little for arguably the most popular ride at Hollywood.

Rise of the Resistance
Once 9 PM hit, that’s when we really started to see the wait times drop — like…a lot! Take a look at how quickly you can get on some of the park’s most popular rides:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster – 10 minutes
- Tower of Terror – 15 minutes
- Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway – 20 minutes
- Star Tours – 5 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance – 15 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 10 minutes
- Toy Story Mania – 30 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash – 45 minutes
- Alien Swirling – 10 minutes

At 11:30 PM, all the attractions had extremely low wait times. It was the perfect time to get on rides over and over and OVER again! They looked like:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster – 10 minutes
- Tower of Terror – 13 minutes
- Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway – 10 minutes
- Star Tours – 5 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance – 10 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 10 minutes
- Toy Story Mania – 10 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash – 20 minutes
- Alien Swirling – 5 minutes

Tower of Terror
We’ll continue checking out all the offerings that this event has in store, so stay tuned throughout the night!
