Disneyland is full of holiday traditions, but one of those traditions is more popular than pretty much anything else. That tradition is the Disneyland candy canes, which are these MASSIVELY huge candy canes that are made ON SITE.
But getting your hands on a Disneyland candy cane isn’t a matter of just going into one of the candy shops and buying it. Nope, you need to know when, where, and HOW to get your hands on one of these babies. Well, we’ve got ALL the details about getting a candy cane this year, so keep reading for all the important details.
Okay, so if you want to get your hands on a candy cane in Disneyland this year, they’ll be on sale on the following dates:
- Candy Palace in Disneyland: November 28th and 30th, December 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 22nd, and 24th
- Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure: November 29th, December 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 23rd, and 25th.
You’ll want to get to the park early and head to the shop so you can get a wristband. The candy canes are limited, so only a certain number of wristbands will be handed out.
Perhaps the best part of getting a candy cane is getting to see how they’re made. You can watch Disney Cast Members pulling the candy canes by hand, as well as twisting them, and creating that familiar shape we all know and love.
While you’re in Disneyland, be sure to check out all the amazing holiday treats, as well as the Disney California Adventure Festival of the Holidays. If you love candy cane flavors, you’ll find plenty of snacks and drinks that will make you VERY happy.
