Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has returned for the 2025 season, and we’re ready to PARTAYYYY!
This party offers some spectacular entertainment, unique characters, and a holly jolly atmosphere, but one of our top priorities when we stop by is the FOOD (it’s in our name, after all). Last year, we had some really delicious eats at the party that sadly haven’t returned for 2025!
Main Street Bakery
At the Starbucks on Main Street, U.S.A., there has previously been a treat called the Letter to Santa. This was made with flourless chocolate cake, hot cocoa mousse, and marshmallow topped with chocolate pieces.
Sadly, this cute little mailbox-shaped treat won’t be making a return in 2025.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
In 2024, we tried the Peppermint Cookie Sandwich at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and it was a MUST for peppermint fans with peppermint ice cream sandwiched between two oatmeal-peppermint chip cookies and rolled in candy cane pieces.
This reminded us a lot of the ice cream sandwiches that used to be served at Dino-Bite Snacks, and we’re sad to see that it has been removed from the menu this year.
Casey’s Corner
Casey’s Corner typically gets some version of holiday-themed hot dog and fries each year, and last year’s offerings were the Holiday Dinner Loaded Fries and Holiday Dinner Hot Dog. The fries were topped with turkey and gravy, fried onions, and cranberry sauce. A whole Thanksgiving meal!
The hot dog was an all-beef hot dog with turkey and gravy, fried onions, and cranberry sauce. We’ll be interested to compare the fries and hot dog to this year’s versions.
Aloha Isle
Magic Kingdom’s most famous DOLE Whip spot had a float on the menu last year that won’t be coming back. The other item was the Cranberry Citrus Float made with Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry and fruity boba pearls topped with DOLE Whip.
This was refreshing and fun, and we’ll definitely miss it!
Golden Oak Outpost
Over in Frontierland, Golden Oak Outpost had a couple of things that aren’t coming back, starting with the Holiday Chicken Nugget Platter. It had chicken nuggets with sage butter and cranberry barbecue glaze served with mashed potatoes and corn. This was kind of like if you turned a kid’s meal into a holiday dish.
The Fried Ice Cream Christmas Tree also won’t return in 2025. It was peppermint ice cream rolled in cereal, topped with green cookie butter whipped cream and festive sprinkles. This was one of the party’s more unique treats, but peppermint ice cream can really be hit or miss.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Another two treats joining this list were available at Pecos Bill in 2024. First was the Salted Caramel Horchata, which was a fun, festive twist on this classic beverage.
The Chocolate Eggnog Tart is also not returning, which is a shame because it was so stinkin’ cute with its little reindeer antlers. It was simply a chocolate tart topped with eggnog mousse and chocolate antlers.
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
Three sweet treats have left Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. First was the Brownie Peppermint Bark (fairly self-explanatory in description), along with the Milk and Cookies Mousse. That one was a brown sugar cookie cake topped with chocolate chip cookie dough mousse, milk mousse, and chocolate chip cookies.
The Holiday Red Velvet Waffle Sundae is also gone, which is a shame! It was a massive red velvet waffle topped with M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, peppermint ice cream, and hot fudge. Definitely made for someone with a sweet tooth.
Pinocchio Village Haus
Pinocchio Village Haus is getting a menu overhaul for this year’s event. Typically, the offerings here are Italian-adjacent, which stands for last year’s Baked Brie Flatbread.
The other item we tried here in 2024 was the Black Forest Parfait, made with flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and cherry chantilly, topped with brandy-cherry compote and chocolate popping candies.
The Friar’s Nook
Quite a few things are leaving The Friar’s Nook in 2025. Say goodbye to the Italian Beef Tots, Sugar Cookie Hand Pie, Toasted Marshmallow-Panna Cotta Tart, and Eggnog Shake.
This spot often gets loaded tots and interesting hand pies, so the menu varies a bit from year to year with flavors.
Storybook Treats
Sugar plum-vanilla soft-serve swirl dipped in celebration cake cone dip topped with marshmallows and almonds made up the Sugar Plum Vanilla Soft-Serve Sundae at Storybook Treats.
This one stuck around for two years, and it was pretty darn delicious, so we’ll be sad to see it go! Hopefully, we’ll get something truly spectacular in its place.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
There’s a pretty significant shake-up at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in 2025. They’re dropping the Christmas Cookie Cake Roll, Christmas Punch, and Peppermint Éclair.
However, they are keeping some beloved entrees on the holiday party menu, so this is a good place to stop for a more filling meal.
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
Last but not least, we’ve got to mention Auntie Gravity’s, which is losing the Lump of Coal In Your Stocking and Smoky Chocolate Brownie Sundae, the latter of which was one of 2024’s most unique treats.
We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any more holiday snack reviews — there are quite literally dozens of options to try around Disney World this season.
