The Disney Destiny is a sister ship to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, but the Destiny has a first-of-its-kind design theme.
Disney Destiny Theme
Aboard the Disney Destiny, you must choose a side: Heroes…
… or Villains!
The ship’s theme is inspired by Heroes and Villains and draws “on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions.”
According to Disney, Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.” Look out for both heroes and villains onboard the ship, including characters from The Lion King, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and Hercules. Disney teased new spaces, experiences, and entertainment on the ship inspired by the heroes and villains of those popular Disney films.
The Disney Destiny Atrium — Welcome Aboard
The Grand Hall
Passengers aboard the Disney Destiny are welcomed into the Grand Hall, a new and stunning atrium design that debuted with the Disney Wish. For the Destiny, Disney took inspiration from Wakanda and the Black Panther films when designing the Grand Hall.
You’ll notice the large light fixture inspired by Vibranium, the rare metallic ore the fictional nation is known for. The light fixture “will generate show-stopping effects that fill the room with life and color.”
And the Disney Destiny’s signature sculpture features none other than King T’Challa, the Black Panther!
The Stern of the Disney Destiny
For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a Marvel hero is the signature character featured on the ship’s stern: Spider-Man! Disney posted a photo of the stern in July 2025:
Disney shares that “this signature larger-than-life sculpture will showcase Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots, who are making a well-meant, if a bit haphazard, attempt at decorating the filigree on the back of the ship with their infamous spider webs.”
Dining on the Disney Destiny
Rotational Family Dining
The Disney Destiny boasts three restaurants as part of Disney Cruise Line’s signature Rotational Dining, whereby you get to dine for dinner at three unique restaurants while your wonderful crew servers rotate with you so they get to know your group and dining preferences!
Let’s start with the NEW restaurant, entirely unique to the Disney Destiny…
Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King
The Lion King will come to life in a brand new way at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King! This theatrical dining experience is the FIRST themed to the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
The animals and nature that make up the African savanna are “brought to life” in unique ways through lighting and special effects. The windows of the restaurant, for example, transform from sunrise to sunset as you dine, and the restaurant’s focal piece features tiered risers made to resemble African drums.
A cast of live musicians and storytellers “present a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack as you dine.” Featured pieces include:
- “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata;”
- A mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared,” which Disney shares features “the hero-villain dynamic of the story,” in keeping with the theme of the ship;
- An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” paired with an interpretive dance presentation;
- And “He Lives in You” as heard in both the sequel film and Broadway production.
The cuisine reflects the theme of the restaurant and show, with many dishes enhanced with African spices and flavors. Just one example from the appetizers is the Curried Apricot Chicken Sosaties, which are Grilled Chicken Skewers, Tri-color Quinoa Pilaf, and Red Chermoula.
Entrees include the Pan-Seared Berbere Spiced Roasted Chicken with Tomato-Red Pepper Rice, Fried Plantains, and Green Harissa Sauce.
And for dessert? One option is the Passion Fruit Layer Cake is Vanilla Butter Cake, Passion Fruit Cremieux, and Strawberry-Hibiscus Sauce.
But that’s just a glimpse! You can see ALL of the dishes we tried at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King HERE!

Worlds of Marvel
The Disney Wish presented the first-ever Marvel dining adventure, and we’re thrilled that guests aboard the Disney Destiny will also have the chance to experience Worlds of Marvel!
This immersive dining experience will follow Groot as he brings diners along for an on-screen quest to throw a surprise party for his dear friend, Rocket Raccoon. During dinner, you’ll be listening to an “awesome mix” of songs, while answering trivia questions to test your Marvel knowledge!
Passengers may also experience Avengers: Quantum Encounter as seen on the Disney Wish.
Click HERE to get an in-depth look at the Worlds of Marvel dining experience!
1923
1923, named after the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios, takes guests on a journey through animation. Dining areas present an upscale Hollywood setting with “a dash of Disney whimsy,” while guests take in the surrounding artwork depicting both modern and classic Disney animated productions (which Disney shares will include “storyboards, sketches and props recalling the heroes and villains of classic Disney animated movies” aboard the Disney Destiny).
Dishes will feature fresh California flavors “inspired by the fusion of cultural flavors” found throughout the Golden State, with items everyone in the family can enjoy.
1923 is also one of the Rotational Dining restaurants aboard the Disney Wish (it will be on the upcoming Disney Treasure, as well), and you can find our review of the dining experience here!

Disney Destiny — Lounges
If you’re a diehard Disney Parks fan who hasn’t previously considered a Disney Cruise… well, you may find that some of the NEW lounges on the Disney Destiny offer the best of both worlds! Let’s explore these primarily adult-exclusive spaces (though some offer family entertainment during daytime hours).
Cask and Cannon
Hoist yer colours, mateys! The Disney Destiny is home to Cask and Cannon — a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar!
Disney shared that this new lounge is “Inspired by the iconic characters and scenes from the beloved Disney Parks attractions around the world, the new pub [is] an eclectic yet cozy watering hole furnished with treasures ‘acquired’ (read: pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe.”
Not only that, but you can catch your favorite game on the television here, plus enjoy rare and specialty rums — and a “selection of ‘bootlegged’ brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style.”
Just one example of specialty drinks is the Dead Man’s Chest, a new experience made for two pirates!
The pair of cocktails features Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Pineapple, Lime, Agave, and Coconut Froth.
You may even decide to pick up some exclusive merchandise inspired by the Cask and Cannon.
AAAARRRR ye ready to step inside the Cask and Cannon on the Disney Destiny? If ye be brave, click HERE.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor
The Haunted Mansion Parlor has materialized on the Disney Destiny!
Disney shares that “Legendary characters from Haunted Mansion attractions around the world will come out to socialize in mysterious ways throughout the experience, along with a few new seafaring arrivals and an original storyline focused on a ship captain.”
The Disney Treasure was the first ship in the fleet to feature a Haunted Mansion Parlor, and we’re thrilled to see that the trend is continuing on the Destiny as well!
However, the Parlor on the Destiny boasts its own unique menu of cocktails and mocktails! One example is the Chilling Challenge: My Way, made with Cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu Sake, Orange Blossom Foam, and Edible Viola Flowers.
And the Swinging Wake, with Monin Cherry & Banana Syrups, Orange Juice, and Berry Beware Potion, comes in a souvenir cup!
An exclusive array of haunted homewares and spooky souvenirs inspired by the bar has also materialized in shopping venues aboard the ship.
P.S. You can even say “I do” here…

De Vil’s Piano Lounge
Ah, yes… We couldn’t think of a more perfect Disney Villain to have their very own over-the-top lounge than Cruella De Vil herself. As you might anticipate, De Vil’s Piano Lounge is a “lavish affair,” according to Disney. You’ll see aspects from the original animated One Hundred and One Dalmatians along with details from the 2021 film Cruella.
You can expect to see Cruella’s style and boldness shining bright within this new lounge which Disney has said has a “Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic” featuring a Dalmatian-spotted piano as the focal point.
You’ll be able to enjoy trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubbles.
From one side of De Vil’s, you can look into the Grand Hall of the ship so you can take in the excellent view of the ship’s main gathering place. The other side of the lounge invites you to bask in Cruella’s fashionable glory.
And may we say (just like Cruella),“How Marvelous!”
Step inside De Vil’s Piano Lounge HERE!
The Sanctum
The Sanctum is Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by Doctor Strange and his mystical arts.
This space is centrally located and features entertainment and a variety of activities for guests of all ages before becoming an adults-only space at night.
You’ll find that there is a “mesmerizing array of spellbinding cocktails, spirits, and coffee drinks available at the bar.”
These include the Vapors of Valtorr made with Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles.
In fact, The Sanctum’s menu features eight specialty alcoholic beverages, one zero-proof drink, two non-alcoholic offerings, Mushroom Coffee, two dining options (including waffles!), and six different wines.
That said, The Sanctum is more than just your typical lounge. It also features some tableside performances by mixology sorcerers.
Around the Sanctum are mystical items designed to aid sorcerers in protecting the world.
You’ll spy familiar icons like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books, but also new shapes and symbols to admire including unique surprises from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum like a circular mirror behind the bar to evoke the building’s iconic window.

Disney Destiny — Casual Dining
If you’ve been following — or perhaps have even sailed on — the Disney Wish, you may be familiar with Marceline Market, which is coming to the Disney Destiny, as well. This food hall — named after Walt Disney’s childhood home of Marceline, Missouri — houses different food stations, here known as markets, “inspired by popular marketplaces from around the world.”
While enjoying favorite foods along with constantly-changing offerings, guests can take in ocean views from inside or from an outdoor seating area on the upper decks.
Additional casual dining options on the upper decks will feature “a festive character twist!”
Character-inspired food stations, such as we’ve seen with Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods on the Disney Wish, will serve up quick bites throughout the day and well into the evening.
These spots include Mickey’s Smokestack BBQ, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill and Minnie’s Delights.
Disney Destiny — Cafes and Sweet Shops
Café Megara
Look for Café Megara off the Grand Hall when you’re in need of a caffeinated pick-me-up, fresh juice, a cocktail, or a sweet treat.
Themed after Disney Animation’s Hercules (based on the character Meg), the spot presents what Disney has deemed a “Greco disco” design!
Explore all of the HIDDEN details at Cafe Megara HERE!
Café Merida
Café Merida is another walk-up cafe located just off the Grand Hall. This tribute to Brave‘s feisty heroine, Merida, will feature a “Celtic-centered” design.
Edna Á La Mode Sweets
Looking for something a little more for your sweet tooth, darling? Edna Á La Mode Sweets will be a specialty dessert shop and confectionery themed to the well-known fashion designer from Pixar’s The Incredibles.
The shop is inspired by the short film Auntie Edna and will repurpose Edna’s sewing equipment into sweet-making devices!”
Handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats will be served in fashion in this spot packed with bolts of fabric and costume models. Sculptures of Edna herself and Jack-Jack will be the fun focal points of this confectionery.
Of course, there will be cupcakes up for grabs, including Violet’s Cupcake, a purple velvet sponge cake with white chocolate mousse, purple mirror glaze, sprinkles, and chocolate décor. (Please be aware that the treats at Edna Á La Mode Sweets are not included in the cruise fare, and are available for an extra charge.)
Disney Destiny — Adult-Exclusive Experiences
Several adult-exclusive dining experiences are coming to the Disney Destiny!
Beauty and the Beast-Inspired Spaces
Adults are able to experience a suite of 3 adult-exclusive dining experiences inspired by Beauty and the Beast! Of-age guests can visit The Rose to sip on a before or after-dinner cocktail or choose from an extensive collection of wines and liquors.
Another signature spot is Palo Steakhouse, inspired by Cogsworth.
The menu brings both Italian fare and modern steakhouse dining to the table. Please be aware that Palo is not included in the cruise fare, and the prix-fixe meal costs $55 per guest to dine.
Adults may also choose to dine at Enchanté, inspired by Lumière!
Enchanté is the ship’s most elegant dining experience, with a gourmet menu created by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement. Please be aware that Enchanté is not included in the cruise fare, and the prix-fixe meal costs $145 per guest to dine.
Senses Spa
“AAAAHHH…” it’s Senses Spa!
This relaxing oasis will offer extra pampering in the form of spa and beauty treatments. The space will feature private treatment rooms and spa villas, as well as steam and aromatherapy rooms.
And Senses Fitness will be complete with state-of-the-art exercise equipment.
Two more pampering places are making their way from the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure. For men, Hook’s Barbery is a twist on a traditional European men’s salon, inspired by its namesake, Captain Cook. Services include cuts, shaves, nail care, and skincare, and the spot also features a hidden bar.
And the Untangled Salon is inspired by the film Tangled. This standalone salon offers haircuts and styling, manicures and pedicures, teeth whitening, and skin treatments.
These spaces are in addition to the adult-exclusive lounges and Quiet Cove.
Disney Destiny — Entertainment
A true hallmark of Disney Cruise Line is the onboard ENTERTAINMENT! Let’s see what the Destiny has in store…
Walt Disney Theatre
On every Disney Cruise Line ship, the Walt Disney Theatre is home to original Broadway-style shows developed exclusively for Disney Cruise Line.
On the Disney Destiny, the featured productions will include a NEW show exclusive to the Disney Destiny: Disney Hercules! Passengers can also enjoy two fan-favorite shows — Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure.
Disney Seas the Adventure
Disney Seas the Adventure is an original musical production starring dear Disney and Pixar pals and featuring unforgettable Disney songs!
Captain Minnie has handed the helm of the ship over to Goofy and, well… it’s a “venture into uncharted waters” from here!
Disney Hercules — The Heroic New Musical
EXCLUSIVE to the Disney Destiny is Disney Hercules!
The show will feature beloved songs including “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love” in live renditions with new musical arrangements inspired by “the soulfulness of gospel music with the energy of a pop concert.” “Shooting Star” will also make its theatrical debut! Alan Menken and David Zippel originally wrote the song for the movie, but it didn’t make the final film.
A highlight of the show will be a MASSIVE Hydra puppet by Award-winning puppet designer Michael Curry, who also worked on the “innovative designs that debuted in “Disney The Tale of Moana” aboard the Disney Treasure. And, just like in the movie, the Muses will be guiding the audience through the show as storytellers!
You can get a BEHIND THE SCENES look at Disney Hercules from Disney Cruise Line here:
Frozen, A Musical Spectacular
Frozen, A Musical Spectacular, which can currently be seen on the Disney Wonder and the Disney Fantasy, is coming to the Disney Destiny!
During this show, heartwarming characters enchant the audience with the retelling of the hit movie, Frozen. You’ll follow the adventures of our favorite royal sisters, Anna and Elsa, and also meet up again with the beloved snowman, Olaf. (P.S. Even if you’re sailing in warm waters, stay alert for snow flurries!)
The show-stopping special effects bring to life the magic of Arendelle. From the elaborate costumes to the spectacular musical numbers, this show aboard the Disney Destiny will delight the whole family.
More Entertainment Venues
The Grand Hall
In addition to providing a beautiful welcoming space, the Grand Hall also hosts entertainment throughout the voyage! Among these are the Destiny’s own traveling storytellers, Zayah and Gamble. They possess enchanted trunks that “react to the powerful energy and magic of classic Disney villains.”
Zayah is a fortune teller who will make predictions and share tales with the help of a magical book, while Gamble can “conjure adventures with his collection of mystifying potions and elixirs.”
Saga
Off the Grand Hall on decks four and five you’ll find Saga — “a central hub for daytime family activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment.” Saga is a two-story venue that will host interactive shows and events, inspired by the architecture of Wakanda.
In fact, Zayah and Gamble, the ship’s storytellers mentioned above, will host a variety of shows and storytelling experiences, including With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show. This show is located in Saga and will be geared toward adults, showing off some of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most iconic moments with sketch comedy, low-budget props, homemade sound effects, and sight gags.
Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas
Another Disney Cruise Line staple is the rare opportunity for passengers to catch first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and more.
These intimate screening spaces on the Disney Destiny will be the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.
Disney Destiny — Deck Parties
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party
AAAARRR ye ready for a DECK PARTY, mateys?! On one night of every voyage, the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, which made its debut on the Disney Wish, is hosted by none other than Captain Redd from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction!
Throughout the party, Redd and her band of buccaneers perform famous radio hits, plus a rock rendition of the classic pirate tune “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me).” When Redd assembles a council of captains, including the famous Jack Sparrow, they’ll unlock a sparkling treasure that lights up the night sky — a fireworks display!
The fireworks are underscored by an original arrangement of the soundtrack from the Pirates in the Caribbean films.
JOIN US at Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party HERE!
Disney Destiny — Water Features and Upper Decks
AquaMouse: “Sing a Silly Song”
The Disney Wish presented the first Disney attraction AT SEA: the AquaMouse! And now, the Disney Destiny will present its own exclusive story on this attraction at sea! The AquaMouse is a 760-foot-long water ride. Each ship in Disney’s Wish Class has its own unique special short that plays during the ride in keeping with that ship’s theme.
On the Disney Destiny, during the short “Sing a Silly Song,” Mickey and Minnie will lead guests to the peak of Villain Mountain. While coming face to face with villains like the Queen of Hearts, Chernabog, and Scar, Mickey and Minnie will “employ a silly song — and a bit of pixie dust — to transform each chilling encounter into a wacky surprise.”
The ride will feature an original soundtrack written by Emmy award-winning composer Christopher Willis and lyricist Elyse Willis! And get this!! “Sing a Silly Song” will be just one of FOUR shows available on the AquaMouse. So you can ride it again and again and have a different experience.
Along with the AquaMouse, the upper decks of the Disney Destiny will feature more water activities — including TEN POOLS — quick and casual dining options, and lots of places to SIMPLY RELAX.
Among the water features will be the Toy Story Splash Zone for families with toddlers and little ones, with a splash zone, wading pool, a family waterslide (the Slide-a-saurus Rex!), and smoothie bar.
And adults specifically can enjoy the secluded Quiet Cove, aboard the Destiny, as well, “dedicated to lounging, sipping and soaking.”
This adults-only area will feature an infinity pool along with a cafe and a poolside bar.
Disney Destiny — Hero Zone
If you’re looking for some active family time, Hero Zone (on Decks 12 and 13) is where you’ll want to go!
This is a “futuristic sports arena where physical activity will blend with imagination, alternating between an elaborate family obstacle course and a free-play sports hub.” Here, imagination meets active play with sports courts, a game floor, a movie theater, and a playground!
Families are able to take on some physical challenges themed to Disney’s heroes during game show-style competitions. Just want to watch instead of participate? You can head to the balcony viewing area to cheer on the participants!
And what better theme for a family game area than The Incredibles?!
The offering, dubbed the Incredi-Games, is a “highly interactive, imaginatively produced game show” with an incredible obstacle course, challenge games, and more, all themed to the popular Pixar movie. Here’s what you can expect inside:
- Mr. Incredibles Power Punch — heroes test their strength by busting through a “brick” wall
- Jack-Jack’s Whack-A Rac — you’ll face off against Rocky and his raccoon friends from Incredibles 2
- Elastigirl’s Stretch-O-Rama — an obstacle area with a variety of twists and turns
- Dash’s Mad Dash Mayhem — made for the “speedsters” of your family
- Violet’s Force Field Swing — sends supers soaring across an imaginary lava field
- Frozone’s Ice Slide — “where heroes will ascend to the highest peak and slide down the icy slope to victory”
In addition to the family competition, the littlest ones can compete in a Disney Cruise Line tradition: Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash, where infants “speed-crawl across a 20-foot track amid the cheers (and chuckles) of family, friends, and adoring fans.”
Channel your inner HERO by checking out the Hero Zone here!
Sailing with Disney Characters — Heroes and Villains
Your best Disney friends, of course, will be taking the voyage with you! There are plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite classic characters onboard, including none other than Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the Fab Five.
Of course, with the Destiny’s unique theme, you’ll meet Disney pals (and perhaps some FOES) throughout your voyage!
Passengers can expect to see LOTS of those famous Disney Villains including Maleficent, Hades, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and Oogie Boogie. Interactions and sightings will happen through a variety of shows, meet-and-greets, and special appearances throughout the ship. (For example, there will be a dance party in Oogie Boogie’s lair and an interactive Disney trivia event that will be interrupted by Disney Villains!)
Let’s take a look at some truly unique experiences, as seen ONLY on the Disney Destiny!
Dr. Facilier’s Parlor
Step inside Dr. Facilier’s Parlor to see party tricks presented by Dr. Facilier himself (from The Princess and the Frog)! As Disney shares, you “may encounter the swindles and scams of the playfully sinister practitioner of the macabre, Dr. Facilier, in the upper levels of the Grand Hall or in his own makeshift parlor, inviting guests in for a card trick or sleight of hand.”
If you don’t mind spoilers, you can read about exactly why we are so impressed with Dr. Facilier’s Parlor here.
P.S. This experience is hard to find – in fact, it may even move around the ship. But we think you won’t want to miss it. You can ask a Crew Member for help; they’re trained to take you right to it!
Under Her Spell
Maleficent will also be seen trying to get an invitation to an event in her interactive experience called Under Her Spell.
Troublemaking with Cruella De Vil
You’ll also get to experience Troublemaking with Cruella De Vil, and she’s even got a new song!
She’ll be talking about her fashion show, the Wretched Runway, with guests.
Loki… The King of the Destiny?
Captain Jack Sparrow, Bruno from Encanto, and Loki (who has proclaimed himself the King of the Ship) will make appearances as well. Be on the lookout for characters from The Lion King and Hercules, too.
Oh, we mentioned Loki, didn’t we? According to Disney, “Intent on clearing his name with the mortals of Midgard, Loki will try to declare himself ruler of this vessel and its occupants. True to his infamous ego and affinity for chaos-making, you’ll never know where Loki may turn up with a grand proclamation of his glorious purpose or a dubious retelling of a well-known story. (He does have a penchant for rewriting history, after all.) The God of Mischief may even recruit unsuspecting guests for a surprise competition to prove their adoration for his royal highness, or command them to explain the strange foreign rituals of ocean cruising. (All-you-can-eat soft serve may be a new concept for the Asgardian, but I’m sure he will approve.
Disney Destiny for the Younger Adventurers (Kids and Teens)
From wee explorers to full-fledged teens, the Disney Destiny will offer dedicated areas featuring interactive programming for the following age groups: infants and toddlers, children, tweens and teens.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club (Ages 3 to 10)
Here, we’ll explore what Disney’s Oceaneer Club has to offer kids ages 3 to 10, with assistance from a team of friendly Disney-trained counselors!
Marvel Super Hero Academy is where youngsters train to be the next generation of superheroes by learning the ropes from Avenger friends like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and the Wasp.
Fairytale Hall is a group of activity rooms themed to honor some iconic Disney ladies (who may just happen to stop by…) — Rapunzel’s Art Studio (for arts & crafts), Belle’s Library (with the chance to read and act out stories), and more.
The Oceaneer Club will also contain the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, where kids “discover the secrets of world-renowned Disney Imagineers” through hands-on activities and experiments.
In Star Wars: Cargo Bay, kids take on the role of creature handlers and help “take care” of Star Wars creatures (think porgs, Loth-cats, and worrts… OH, MY!)!
Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck features a nautical-themed playground filled with sensory games and activities.
And unique to the Destiny will be an entrance featuring statues of characters from Wreck-It Ralph! These characters will be located at the entrance of the Youth Activities area by adding colorful sweets into the details.
Jealous of the kiddos? DITTO.
Edge & Vibe
Teens (ages 14 to 17) and tweens (ages 11 to 14) have their own dedicated clubs.
The stylish Vibe is the hangout for teenagers, and the New York City loft-inspired Edge is for tweens.
“it’s a small world” Nursery
“it’s a small world” Nursery offers babysitting services under the care of Disney-trained counselors for the ship’s very smallest sailors.
Inspired by “The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed,” games, crafts, movies, books and even visits from Disney friends are part of the activities.
Disney Destiny — Staterooms
Now, let’s talk about YOUR PERSONAL OASIS aboard the Disney Destiny… your Stateroom! 1,256 staterooms present custom artwork custom artwork “depicting the epic journeys of famous Disney legends” from animated films including Brave, Hercules, and Mulan.
Designed with families in mind, many of the staterooms offer Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bath concept (GENIUS!), and many also have the option for a connecting door for adjoining staterooms.
Options for Staterooms include Inside Staterooms, for which Disney Cruise Line has provided concept art.
Those who prefer a view may opt for an Oceanview Stateroom.
Here is a look at a Verandah Stateroom.
And Disney Cruise Line has also provided a look at Verandah Stateroom with the bunk beds pulled out.
Passengers sailing in Concierge-level staterooms will have access to an exclusive concierge lounge with a private sun deck.
The pictures you see below feature a Big Hero 6-themed Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on the Disney Destiny.
This room is 243 square feet and sleeps three to four guests with a queen bed, a sofa bed, and a ceiling pull-down bed, if needed to sleep four.
A “living area” provides a couch, a desk with drawers, a mirror, and lots of shelf space as well.
The split-style bathroom is divided into one room housing the shower and vanity area.
The other room houses the toilet and another sink and mirror combination.
The verandah is complete with two chairs and a table — perfect for sipping coffee in the morning.
If you would like to take a deep dive to see all of the various features, storage options, and included amenities, you can see our full photo tour here.

Royal Concierge Suites
Additionally, Royal Concierge Suites of “heroic proportions” are themed after Hercules and The Incredibles! Honoring the powers and heroism at the heart of Disney Animation’s “Hercules,” the Hero Suites are inspired by the film’s Greco-Roman architecture, colors and patterns.
Just look at how spacious this Hercules themed dining room and living room spaces are! Plus, check out that balcony!
Seriously, how could anyone NOT feel like a Greek God on Mount Olympus when in this bathroom?!
The IncrediSuites will invoke the exhilarating exploits of “The Incredibles.”
These Suites present a mid-century modern aesthetic inspired by the Pixar films.
We’d certainly enjoy taking a bath of heroic proportions while gazing out that window!
Destiny Tower Suite
The Destiny will feature a one-of-a-kind suite that’s fit for even Tony Stark himself: the Destiny Tower Suite!
This suite features a unique penthouse design, inspired by Iron Man’s legacy as well as Tony Stark’s lavish style. The industrial aesthetic of the space, created with mechanical elements combined with soft and inviting touches, creates an opulent experience for guests staying in this suite, which is created exclusively for the Disney Destiny.
Situated high above in the ship’s forward funnel, this distinctive space offers breathtaking views of the top deck and beyond through a large two-story window.
With almost 2,000 feet of living space, the Destiny Tower Suite can easily accommodate eight guests comfortably. (That’s more than the total original members of the Avengers!)
It offers designated areas for dining, snoozing, and entertainment, as well as the added perk of a full kitchen and private elevator inside the suite.
Click HERE for a FULL TOUR of the Destiny Tower Suite!

MORE Experiences on the Disney Destiny
Disney Uncharted Adventure
A NEW, first-of-its-kind interactive experience made its debut on the Disney Wish, and it will come to the Destiny as well: Disney Uncharted Adventure!
This game takes guests on a journey through the worlds of several iconic Disney and Pixar characters. The game is designed for families to play together while on the ship, ultimately exploring areas they may not visit otherwise.
Guests who have sailed on the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy may be familiar with the Midship Detective Agency, but Uncharted Adventure elevates the experience! For instance, this adventure technically begins before you even board the ship! To play Disney Uncharted Adventure, you — and everyone in your party who would like to play — will need the Play Disney Parks app. It will assist you in beginning the adventure FROM HOME.
Before you even step aboard the ship, Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey will tell you about the night sky, the stars, and the special relationship they have with seafaring. But, there are certain “magical stars” you can only see from the Disney Wish! You’ll need a magical spyglass to see them, and The Play Disney Parks app will transform into your magical spyglass, giving you the ability to see these special constellations once onboard.
At the center of these special constellations is the beautiful, shining “wishing star.” But a storm comes along… And the Wishing Star gets hit by something and shatters! And now?

Disney Destiny Construction and Milestones
Float out is one of the biggest milestones in the construction of a ship, as well as a maritime tradition. In August 2025, the Disney Destiny has floated out into the harbor from the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany to make the tugboat-assisted 20-mile trip down the Ems River to Eemshaven, Netherlands. From there, it will head out for its sea trials in the North Sea.
